For a Grundig freesat box.
In less than 10 minutes of receiving the hard disk, it was installed and watching tv. I can also pause live tv and record with ease. A happy customer.

Cant fault it . Very quiet, good quality build, standard functionality, good value for money.
Purchased to go into an external housing and used as a back up for all of my music files. Easy fit and installation and once set up to be recognised all good , Cant fault it . Very quiet, good quality build, standard functionality, good value for money.

Very decent
I purchased for use in my Dell 790 , it worked well and was easy to install , the computer still would not clear RAM though so I suspect something else had gone wrong , will keep as spare though as it has 500 Gb not like the original 250 Gb.

Time will tell
The product came without retail packaging and was in an anti static bag in bubble wrap. The drive is from 2014 so is over 10 years old but doesn't look like it's been used. I've used this is a CCTV system so only time will tell, if it will last.Oh it's 500gb, unsure if it's started in the listing.

Old disks from 2010 to 2013 Unreliable
I bought 10 of these disks for my business and 4 out of the 6 I tested had i/o issues and clicking stuck heads or other read write faults and so I have returned 8 out of the 10 disks. Please note these are unsold old stock dating back from 2010 to 2013 (the newest of my 10 disks!) Buy an SSD as these are unreliable and your going to regret losing data with these.

Make a system recovery disc on a USB Drive, as you might need to purchase a new Windows Licence
Used to repair an Old Windows PC as Hard Drive had failed, To install it is not a simple case of plug and play and should therefore not be undertaken by anyone without some technical know-how. Once a copy of Windows 10 was installed,( laborious), the drive has performed as well as the original

Very Old Stock!
I ordered one of these as I needed a AV drive and it had to SATA II, I realised as that standard is now discontinued the drive would be old stock, but was rather surprised just how old, the supplied drive is a WDC WD5000 AVDS dated 2010!The disk would not initially spin up on applying power, when it eventually did it would not initialise, after quite a number of power cycles this resolved itself, this seems normal to me for a drive that has been sat for a very long time. Checking the SMART the drive appears otherwise 'New'.Once set-up in the PVR the drive has worked fine with no problems recording multiple HD channels simultaneously I will however keep a close eye given the initial issues and the age.
