Now you see it...
This book is great because you really have no idea what or who you are colouring in until almost the end! The paper is good quality so ink does not bleed through the back but the only comment is the amount of ink you need to complete one picture - about 2 full gel pens. These really are relaxing to colour in, and you could quite easily frame the results as they are so unusual compared to the normal adult colouring books.

Adult colouring/puzzle book
This is s great way to spend an hour or two, concentrating on these pictures. A steady hand is required as these are more tricky than Thomas Pavitte's previous books 'querkles' which i also enjoyed. I have done half of them now using different colors for different effects. I find them very therapeutic and marvel at how a lot of of spirals end up looking like an icon.

Brilliant
With each picture that you colour in this book it will indeed amaze you as to how colouring in a spiral with whatever your choice of colour or colours can result in the picture . Very satisfying to see each picture once you finally complete it . Well worth buying if you haven't already done so .

Great
I finished every picture in this book. When held at a distance the pictures are pretty amazing to say your just colouring a spiral.Lines weren't too thin. I used cheap black ball point pens because it takes about 1 pen per picture . I tried doing one in red but it just didn't look so good.I would recommend this.

Unique
This intrigued me so when it was reduced I thought I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. It’s very different from any other colouring book, the picture gets revealed as you colour the spiral. The pages are thick enough to stand up to my black gel pen without leaking through. Check out Thomas Pavitte’s other books as they are just as unique and well worth trying, Querkles is such a joy to colour.

Clever but tedious
Very clever design but incredibly tedious to do. I've tried to work with different colours to create pop-art style images but just can't seem to get it right. As far as I'm concerned they're best with one colour which makes it a little boring.

Great colouring book. Shame it had black sticky stuff on the back of it.
Great colouring book. Like a retro fill size record sleeve.Shame it arrived in a massive box and had black sticky stuff on the back of it. Unfortunately, there is no way to contact Amazon, the seller, about the without returning the item which is such a hassle.

A Fun, Unique Coloring Experience
I love adult coloring books and all of the various color by number, paint by sticker, picture puzzle, etc. variations that have come out since the coloring book craze started. One of my favorite things in this genre has been the Spiroglyphics: Rock Heroes book. This book is great quality. It's an over-sized book measuring in at nearly 12"x12". The book has a great quality feel right from the start, with thick, heavier paper, one-sided puzzles and a great instructions section (although this is not needed - but if you want to get creative, check out these few pages). There are 20 puzzles, each with a recognizable rock hero - Elton John, Axl Rose, Prince, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan and my favorite, Stevie Nicks. Not all of these are "rock" stars - you have Beyonce in the mix here. The puzzles are two spirals, joined in the middle, and it's your job to start at one end or the other and color them in, so that you will soon see who your rock star is. You can cheat and look in the back to see who you are coloring, or you can wait and be surprised as your puzzle starts to come to life. You can use a black marker or regular pencil or you can experiment a bit and use colored markers or pencils. These are not difficult puzzles but will probably be too challenging for younger coloring fans. The puzzles are fun and I found myself wanting to buy another Spiroglyphics book by the time I had just two puzzles completed in this book. I highly recommend it for coloring or doodling fans of all ages over the age of about 10 or so.
