Very versatile
Our 1st air fryer bought to replace our electric cooker to free up space for a tumble dryer in small kitchen. Chose this one for being dual control or single drawer as required so will cook a standard-sized pizza. Have been mostly air frying bacon, rissoles & veggy bakes so nothing ambitious - yet. The next challenge will be a spatchcock chicken with roast potatoes & veg then my wife will bake cakes. This air fryer is pretty simple to operate: press the centre control twice & it alternates from single to dual controls. All the other controls are touch sensitive so the panel is smooth therefore easy to clean. You select the function that defaults to Air Fryer then select Time or Temp then rotate to change. A minor quibble is the rotary control is linear rather than being rate-sensitive so can take a while to get to the required setting. The centre divider pulls up but do so gently otherwise the silicone corner pieces need reseating. The base plate has silicone feet & to hinging metal hoops in the middle of either side - removing it will give an extra 8mm of depth. To set each side independently, you press the “1” or “2” button then set as before but you can then choose to duplicate the other side's settings or set one independently then sync so they finish together. There's no auto-sensing with this model unlike the more expensive Ninja equivalent but is excellent value. As for results - they are good with oven chips coming out crispy. How even food cooks depends on your willingness to shake, stir, turn or baste. Although it early days, the results do reduce cooking times by 40-60%.Any downsides? Cleaning after each use is needed. If new to air frying, some accessories will help such as a meat thermometer, racks & silicone inserts. I'm very pleased with this highly flexible model so recommend it.

I can cook a full roast dinner and my Smart Meter stays in the green!
It took me a while to really understand how to get the best out of my Instant Versa Dual. Using a slightly lower temperature and shorter cooking times seemed to good to be true but they really are. Yes, I had a few things come out darker than they should be but all good now. One of the funny things that we found was that we kept thinking in terms of cooking in a microwave rather than a fan oven. That “can I really use metal in it?”, “surely it isn’t possible to boil an egg without it exploding?” (It is). Yorkshire puddings are fabulous in this air fryer. It is possible to roast a whole chicken but - and here we come to the reason for the 4 rather than 5* rating - if the chicken is big enough for four people it will catch on top. It’s easy to get round this by spatchcocking it but a slightly deeper drawer would be perfect.Cakes, bread and tray bakes come out well. Dehydrating citrus fruit is ok but herbs need to be weighted down or else they fly round and burn. What’s really good is being able to bake a cake on one side and meat on the other with different cooking times and the Instant Versa Dual synchronises the finish. Or one big drawer for whole joints or larger items.Anything in wet batter isn’t to be recommended (but I keep experimenting) but that’s not just this air fryer. Having said that, I’ve found a recipe that claims to be the genuine original fried chicken, with all the original herbs and spices, that’s adapted for the air fryer and it is amazing. No greasy fingers with this one. Most importantly for me it’s economical in terms of electricity. The oven very rarely goes on these days. I recommend it.

Simple to use but customer support from brand is terrible
I have owned two Instant Pot Airfryers (this and a 5.7L six in one) two Instant Pot Pressure cookers (the original duo and the Crisp). This model is simple to use including the multi zone feature with dual temperature and cooking times. It’s a spacious size so you will easily cook a meal for a 4 person family (roast chicken and vegetables etc) I bake brownies pavlovas and other cakes easily but finding the right size trays and baking tins can be tricky as the curved corners can reduce the fit more than you would expect. It’s convenient and we rarely if ever turn on our double oven anymore. The reason why I struggle to recommend Instant Pot any longer is the after sales support. If you need to purchase a spare part (cracked drawer, new grill plate) the spares are never available. You add yourself to a mailing list to wait on stock to come in and you will still be waiting six months later. It’s an ongoing problem which other owners have flagged on their FB support group but is ignored by their support team. It looks to be a global problem as other countries also show spares as being out of stock. When you spend nearly £200 on an appliance you expect some durability but in the future I will look at a competitor brand over IP

Excellent product
The outlook is beautiful than the photo image.I had an Instant pot with an air fryer function before which used for almost two years and is still good, however, the area of the air fryer is small and in round shape, it is not enough for me so buy the other air fryer, this Instant VersaZone Dual Air Fryer comes with XXL Single and Double Air Frying Drawers is so flexible to use and happy it has a large capacity for anything I cook, I use it every day and the food quality is also good as they described.

Air fryer
I’m very impressed with this. Aged 77 I never thought I would prefer something to a ‘real’ oven. It’s great!
