What a deal
These Teva are for comfortable for my feet, gore-tex mid height, durable, no pressure points so far on coastal trails, kept feet dry on foggy wet mornings. Best deal I've found in awhile $87.00 bought 2 pairs. Ankle opening is a little snug when putting on boot but it fits better and more comfortable once on because there is less material to tuck in when tying laces.

Very nice so far!
So I bought these strictly for work. I am a lawn and landscaper for 22 years. I have been through 22 years of boots. So far so good I must say. I cannot stand to have wet feet. After a month of use my feet are dry and I couldn’t ask for better comfort. I like having a little wiggle room for my toes which these provide. Saying that these are true to size in my opinion. They have great traction as well as the Vibram sole which is a bonus! These are rather pricey but if they last me for a season..then they were well worth it. I have tried Keen, Merrill and a few others boots and those are a 2 pair a season boot. So at $100 for those others.. I’d much rather spend the extra $65-$70 for a very decent boot which I believe these are. I’m sure they would be a very good hiking boot as well. I will probably use them for that this summer.I shall leave another review here in about three months to see how well these have held up. 🤞

Hikers Dream!
I do utility inspections and occasionally locate utilities. So I do quite a bit of walking in adverse conditions. I bought these to experiment with different boots besides the same old “Georgia boot” style slip-on boots. So after two weeks of wearing these, I’m completely blown away by the comfort and sturdiness of these boots. The image I attached to this is after quite a long walk through a muddy and wet construction site on the side of a busy road. I was soaked from mid-calf down, yet my feet remained dry as a bone. I rinse these off with a hose every day to clean mud a debris off, and my feet will still be dry. There was virtually no break-in period on my pair, and they were comfortable from day one with no blisters, rubs, or soreness of feet.I have found myself a new brand of work boots/shoes! Thanks Teva!Id also like to state that this is my first time owning ANY Teva product. Pretty impressed!

Lots of problems for me.
I like the sole; it looks like a very capable hiking tread pattern made from Vibram MegaGrip, which is pretty good stuff. I also like the idea of the heel lock down strap, though in practice I found it somewhat awkward to use, and I think just sewing it into the boot like many boot designs do is generally a better way to go.What killed this boot for me is 1) Like other reviews mention, the boot is very tight around the base of the toes. There is a stiff band of material that does not flex at all, and for me at least there is also a really badly placed seam that rubs right on the small toe of each foot. 2) The insole/midsole combination is really uncomfortable for me, causing the whole foot to bend in strange ways, sort of supporting the arch, but not comfortably. And finally, and perhaps worst of all, 3) The boots just felt like floppy bags on my feet, floppy bags with awesome soles and somewhat cool heel lock down straps, but floppy bags nonetheless. I have shoes that are as light or lighter than these, but still feel form fitting and solid on my feet. As you can tell, I am not a fan.

Great shoe/mid boot
For a guy who has broken both ankles it is hard to find any shoe that works. I'm indebted to Teva. Yes a bit tight mid-foot, but just pull out the laces & loosen. Stylish! Extra room in toe area is so nice. The base is very comfortable. Paid $25 less than anywhere else online.

comfortable, stable and waterproof for 1.5 years
Used this as a daily work shoe for about a year and for short hikes off and on. It's a great fitting shoe and is bit wider than most shoes. Waterproofing was great initially, crossing streams and during a couple of storms. The suede in the left and right side of the toe base area started to crease and discolor over time. A year and a half from original purchase, this area leaked water while walking in the rain.

Bought these at a great price. I've always loved Teva products hiked all through Japan in these.
