Tasty low carb pasta
A Game-Changer for Low Carb Eating Kaizen Low Carb Keto Pasta is the closest thing I’ve found to regular pasta while staying keto. The texture holds up really well—no soggy noodles—and it has a mild, clean taste that goes great with any sauce. It’s high in protein, very filling, and doesn’t spike my carbs for the day. I’ve tried it in Alfredo, marinara, and even cold pasta salads, and it works every time. It cooks quickly, and the portion size is generous. If you’re on keto or just watching your carbs, this pasta makes sticking to your diet so much easier. Absolutely worth the price.

Good flavor, great alternative to regular pasta
A little pricy but a great option for high protein low carb option. This cooks completely different than normal pasta, and I highly encourage you to stand at the pot the entire time to stir it so it doesn’t boil over. Cooks up in about 6 minutes, has a similar taste to regular pasta and when mixed with a sauce or other items you can’t really tell the difference. The pasta by itself however has a unique flavor. It’s not bad at all but it is different from regular pasta. If meal prepping, I’d encourage you to only make enough for 1-2 days out. Any longer than that and it tends to “breakdown” and get an almost gritty texture. This is probably one of the better alternatives I’ve tried and easily recommend it as a go. You get a lot of noodles in the box and can easily portion out several helpings worth

I really wanted to like this...
I feel like we gave this the best try we could but it just ended up being disappointing. As others have said, the cook time estimate is wildly inaccurate: the package claims 4-5 minutes but pulling it at 5 still resulted in, let's face it, raw pasta. Not al dente. RAW. Had to cook it to about 10-12 minutes, (not the end of the world as most other dried pastas take about that long) before it lost that "raw" texture and flavor. Problem is, it became mealy and kinda gritty. I even tried it at one minute increments from about 6 min to when we pulled it off at 12 and it never quite got to the right texture. It's gummy, sticks in between your teeth, and is just generally unpleasant. The taste isn't bad, tho there's no mistaking this for traditional pasta. Just sorta bland with a slight nutty note. I mixed what I made into a pasta salad, (vinaigrette, tomatoes, garbanzos, pepperoni, pepperoncini, olives, mozz balls, green onion and blanched spinach. Mangia!) and it was better than just eating it alone, especially after it rested in the fridge a little and absorbed some dressing, but still kinda on the gummy side. Sorry, Kaizen. I really wanted to love this but I don't think I'll be buying it again, especially considering how much more expensive it is than supermarket pasta.

Very good but price is too high
This was quite good! The only reason I’m leaving off a star is because this is EXPENSIVE! Especially in that the amount is less than a box of regular pasta. I won’t be able to buy this very often and that makes me sad. It is a firmer pasta so if you like al dente like I do, you’ll like this. I’m sure you can cook it longer if you like softer pasta. Cooks quick, only 5 minutes. The taste is neutral (not beany) which I appreciate. Overall, it’s a good substitute if you have a pasta craving while on low carb diet.

I suppose it's ok if you're craving pasta, but...
Why did you pick this product vs others?: My husband and I have been eating low carb for several years now. We are always looking for products to enhance our mealtime preparation with a low carb count. This has 6 net carbs per serving. It does have 20 grams of protein too which I was hopeful about. This was OK, but honestly I wouldn't get it again. It took nearly 30 minutes to cook and the flavor just isn't there and after 30 minutes of boiling it can still be sticky and tough. We bought three boxes and tried three times to make this work. We're going back to quinoa. Carb content: 6 net carbs

it has a texture and taste of whole wheat pasta
I enjoyed that each serving boasts very low net carbs and a good protein boost, thanks to lupini flour.. It gave me the flexibility to have “pasta night” without feeling like I was breaking my low-carb or keto plan. That was fun from a mental & meal variety perspective.

No carb overload
High protein and filling. Holds its texture well and doesn't feel like a "diet food."

Texture is not great
I really really wanted to like this. I tried the fusili. I had to cook it an extra three minutes for the center of the corkscrews to be cooked through. I kept checking for doneness but without the extra time it was very chewy, even hard at the centers. Having to cook it longer made the outside of the corkscrews get a bit too soft. The taste is very pasta like, the texture not so much. It tends to get a mealy texture as you're chewing. Not good enough to forego real pasta.

I love the texture of this pasta! It blends well with any sauce and I like that it has lots of protein and fiber.

I just made this, and it’s INCREDIBLE! I was starving and made 1.5 servings (I could handle the cals today), but I couldn’t finish the bowl. Highly filling, good texture, and I’m excited to try different recipes. It’s expensive, but works with my macros and is fast to whip up on a weeknight. Very happy with this pasta!

I actually follow the maker of this product on Instagram and as someone who’s lived keto for several years was really looking forward to this product being a great replacement for pasta or rice unfortunately, this product is not good. I really really wished it was good. I was so excited, but unfortunately, it’s super gritty consistency very weirdly starchy even though it’s not supposed to be starchy definitely would not purchase again.

This is a tasty healthy product but way too expensive. Close to $50 for 3 small boxes, using one box for one dinner of 3

First time I made this, I salted the water and cooked it about 8 or 9 mins - I was disappointed. Too salty and too mushy. Second time, I didn't add any salt and only let pasta boil for about a min or two before reducing to a simmer for 5 or 6 minutes more (7 in total). It was amazing in my recipe, which was adding the pasta to pre-made pasta sauce and a couple of table spoons of heavy cream powder. That's it. So good! I don't know how it will hold up in a pasta salad or if it's baked - but the way I made it was really good. Also, the portion size was enough for me, as I am trying to have my lighest meal for dinner. The price point is a little high when compared to regular pasta, but to eat what feels like a real pasta dish that doesn't spike my BS for $4.50 per serving is worth it for me.
