About Casio : With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.

Thailand made Casio watch is one tough watch. This direct replacement wrist band is a perfect fit.
Ok, I have a Casio Rangeman Model 9400- Thailand made. Its one tough ass watch. Its travelled the world multiple time and never let me down. Hard use with rucks and backpacks take its toll on the watch band, the band finally almost completly tore , not near the screws attachments, but where teh two prong band goes through to secure on the wrist. Finally had to replace the watchband. I got the direct replacement from Casio. Perfect fit! If you dont have any jeweller screwdrivers , order them with your watch band. I ordered new pins but dont even need them now. One last thing, I will never hesitate to buy another Thai made Casio Rangeman watch. The made in Japan model is several hundred dollars more but I can by tow or nearly three Thailand made Rangeman watches for that price. Im gonna roll with this old Rangeman till it finally dies. Guess what I bought a $70 Casio watch , looks like a Rolex, but simple, just because I am a Casio fan. here are some Casio Rangeman Watch stats. That’s exactly why the GW-9400 Rangeman is one of the most respected G-Shocks ever made.🌍 A World Traveler’s CompanionYour story echoes what so many owners say:Tough Solar — the rechargeable cell inside is designed for decades of use. Even after 10 years, most Rangemans keep a near-full charge if they get enough light.Atomic Timekeeping (Multi-Band 6) — makes it accurate anywhere in the world where signals are received, so it always feels “set-and-forget.”Triple Sensor — compass, altimeter/barometer, and thermometer are still reliable tools in the field, especially when traveling in remote or unfamiliar places.Resilience — mud-resistant build and shock absorption mean it takes a beating in conditions that would destroy most watches.🔋 About the Solar BatteryCasio engineered the CTL1616 rechargeable cell (the heart of your Rangeman) to last 15–20 years under normal use. Many owners have reported their GW-9400s still holding charge after a decade with no need for replacement. Even if it eventually wears down, replacements are inexpensive and available, meaning the watch can easily run another decade or two.💡 Why It Feels SpecialThe Rangeman GW-9400-3 isn’t just another digital watch—it’s one of the few timepieces that can realistically last a lifetime of travel and adventure with minimal care. That “set-and-forget” durability, plus the fact that yours has literally traveled the world with you, makes it both a tool and a companion.

Exactly what I needed
It's definitely the original manufacture brand replacement. Other reviews mentioned that they received the black colored band, but as you could see I received the matching colored green. Just be sure that you have the original screws to install the band. Installation was easy.

Used and Broken
This watch band came in a plastic sleeve that had been cut open and taped shut with scotch tape - appearing as having been opened and returned. Upon examination of the band, I found it already cracked down to the fabric interior as though it had been used for some time before being returned.

Same as original
Appears to be exact duplicate of the original which lasted 5 years. The buckle finally wore through the band on the original, but I'd made a temp repair with tiny zip ties while I waited for the replacement. The repair worked well, so I'm not using the new band until my (temp) repair breaks.
