BIOSSANCE 100% Squalane Oil is an excellent moisturizer. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and leaves my skin soft, smooth, and well hydrated. It has been especially great for menopause related dry skin. I love that it works for face, body, and even hair, making it very versatile. It’s ideal for oily or sensitive skin, and I appreciate that it’s sustainably sourced and vegan. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, effective moisturizer!

I’m on my second bottle. I mostly this by mixing a couple drops into my moisturizer. But I will also pat a little onto my face during the day if my skin gets dry. It’s great to use the residual on the ends of my hair and rubbed into my hands and cuticles. No smell, not greasy, a little goes a long way.

This is one of the only face oils that actually works for me without making me break out. It’s super lightweight, absorbs fast, and leaves my skin soft and hydrated instead of greasy. I use it after my moisturizer and it gives my skin a nice healthy glow. It plays well with the rest of my routine and never pills under makeup. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. I'm not exactly sure how an oil can be more nourishing than the same kind of oil from another source, but it is. For years I had been using an olive-derived squalane oil from another brand that can be found here on Amazon. It worked fine, but in winter especially it often felt too thin. I was always curious about this brand and gave it a shot. And wow, seriously, wow. This oil is derived from sugarcane I believe and there's a truly noticeable difference between the oils. This sugarcane derived squalane is so much thicker than the olive oil squalane, but it sinks into your skin beautifully. My skin has felt so much more hydrated since using this compared to the olive oil squalane. I'm also not using more of it - the olive derived oil came in a dropper while this is a pump, but I only let a tiny amount out of the pump at a time. The amount of oil in the palm of my hand has been the same between both types. This oil, while expensive, also lasts a super long time. I've gotten many, many months, probably close to a year, out of a bottle with daily use.
