I bought this product after suffering with days of dizziness, ringing in my ears and headache after just short exposure to the fire alarm in my apartment. But before you think I'm a coward, you should know that I've been to Nascar without ear protection and had fewer problems than i had with my fire alarm. It is literally the loudest thing i ever heard and it made me physically sick. My dad even made the crude joke that he would rather burn than be tormented with the noise. And yes I did evacuate the building, however it took a few extra minutes because I have pets that I also have to save. It has only ever been test alarms so far, but I made the decision that it is vital to protect my ears from permanent damage during these tests. I keep these earphones next to my bed, along with earplugs, to be worn in the event of a fire drill whilst I am securing my animals to be evacuated. At this point, with the excruciatingly loud alarm (and you don't think about the dangers of loud noise until in the moment when youre exposed to it), I can honestly say I'm more concerned with ear damage than with fire; my main reason for leaving the building has now become to protect my ears. And this is not meant to be humorous, I'm being serious. Earmuffs like these are a must in the event you are exposed to loud sound; overly loud sound can cause tinnitus, dizziness, and permanent hearing loss. I can only imagine what it is like for those with small children and babies.These muffs were super effective...I tested them while watching TV on high volume and none of the noise came through. I feel safe knowing these are within arms reach to protect myself.

Comfortable fit, works great at blocking out apartment noise, good quality.If worn for an extended amount of time your ears will become a little sore, but not bad. Worth the purchase.

on some days, I wake up suddenly from the sound of the trash truck, or sound of the nearby places playing loud music. I sleep any part of the day, so I hate waking up. I needed to find something that looks comfortable and would block out the sound. By the way, I hate earplugs, it feels uncomfortable, and I had an earwax buildup that led me going to the doctor because I lost all hearing due to the amount of ear wax from wearing earbuds to play music. The earbuds are comfortable enough around your head that you are relaxed enough to sleep. The amount of sound that it blocks is good (not complete blockage of regular noise, but enough to block outside noise). For example, if someone was in the same room talking to you, you could still hear the person if you had this Ear Muff product on. But if the person was talking outside the apartment/house, you would not be able to hear them, because the sound is obviously a lot less when trying to talk through a wall. I also love that it is adjustable; I have a medium-sized head (well I think I do), and I extend the Ear Muffs to the farthest available for comfort. I don't think these Ear Muffs can fit a large head (my guess).

I bought this a couple of months ago and finally had a chance to use it at the shooting range. This thing works VERY WELL! My ears were safe from the obvious noise at the range and I was comfortable with it over my head, covering my ears. I used it for about 1.5 hours and did not have a single issue with it. Man, if you guys need a hearing protection, this one is the best I tried on so far, and the price is awesome! I recommend these ear muffs! 👍🏽

I use mine mainly for mowing and working around loud saws. They are very effective in lowering the sound level. They are comfortable to a point. After about two hours of mowing I have to take them off and rest my head.

These work fairly well. They definitely reduce noise. I was hoping for more noise cancelling as that is what they are advertised as, but I could still hear quite a bit with these on (I’m autistic). But they do definitely dampen noise. I would say my bigger issue is that they are very tight. I am a pretty small female with a smaller than average head (I buy child/tween size glasses) and these squeeze the heck out of me. I could wear them for 30-45 mins max before I finally gave up and have to take them off. I will be returning them.

Super comfortable. The distance it goes out from your head is bigger than my other protectors but these do keep out more noise.

I use these with power tools and they provide fantastic hearing protection. "I hate putting things inside my ear canal (and if you've ever had the tip of one these insertions break off inside your ear you'll know why).That said, these were a little tight on my head the first time I wore them. The do loosen up a little after a couple of hours. Not that they stretch out, but there is no longer a pinching or tight sensation with the band.Most of the time I forget I'm wearing them, even in TX heat.

My boyfriend bought this to not hear ambient noises and it works. They’re quite big though.

The ear defender works very well on firing range. It helps to shut out undesirable noise to a great extent. The quality is very good, and it is v comfortable to the ears.
