These are ideal to allow power to layout sidings without having to wire up every one. I've used these on my analogue oo gauge layout. After trying to physically wire every single siding, and coming up against a couple of awkward snags, I remembered these clips I'd used on my 1st layout back in 2016, which worked perfectly well. If you're a new comer or not a brain surgeon expert in electrics these are essential. Well worth the money as well

If you use hornby track points and are using DCC, you really need to use these to help with shunters or any train really. I was close to giving up on my shunter and class 24 until i found out about these. Yes they are expensive for what you get but they work, which is why they have the 5 stars, i do think hornby should ship these with their points for use. I think this is just another way for hornby to make extra money with little thought to their customer

Expensive but work as required. Found I didn’t need to add them to every point track pair for DCC to operate. Less is more so to speak.

Hornby points need these to turn into electrofrog.

You’d think they’re expensive for what they are, but so worth the money. They don’t come with fitting instructions but basically clip between the rails at the point where the plastic ‘guide rail’ ends. They’re really easy to install, even easier if you use use a Leatherman or needle nose pliers to hold them - 20 points took me just over 5 minutes to retrofit.

Although these are basically shaped paper clips, they do the job just perfectly. These are needed with a DCC setup, stops models cutting out on the points although small models will stall time to time. Hardwire your set up if using DCC, you'll benefit greatly. Drill holes every 20cm or so around the track, feed wires up and solder directly to the rails (solder underneath, not the sides or top!) many parents by their kids these sets and have no clue what they're doing. Wire it properly, use a bus beneath the baseboard. Google DCC wiring to do this properly

These things are not easy to get so I'm over the moon to get this and on time polite delivery driver. Money well spent
