are the rods strong - I need to pull something down that is up a tree - will the rods go up the full 10m or will they bend too much?

I don't these this would be suitable I brought them to pull wires though and they wasn't strong enough. I put them in the bin !!

I have used rods before but threaded ends have come off with very very little force. How strong are these rods. I am a spark for my sins

Had them for over a year now. Not in regular use but they have had a 'hard life' when required and connections are still as good as new.

Don’t buy these they are absolutely rotten and fall to bits very quickly.

what is diameter of the rods?

The blue (main) part of the rod is approximately 4mm, the metal connecting part is approximately 6mm.
