This is a pretty good item but it could be a little louder. The color isnt exact its close though. Also if you have the 5th generation iPod nano then its not going to fit like in the picture, the right side of the iPod is going to hang off due to the relocation of the head phone hole. Also a downer for me is that it does no charge your iPod :-( tears. it barely takes up half of my night stand so its a nice size worth the money if you ask me and the free shipping got to me in 2 days.

The only con for this item is it doesn't charge the iPod. It has a 3.5 stereo jack instead of an iPod port. I can't imagine it would have cost much more to have both interchange so owners of other mp3 brands could use the speakers and iPod owners can charge it as well. Because the charging port is blocked you can't plug it in to charge it in an outlet while it's on the speaker.The quality of the sound is great, the little compartments are useful for the items on the desk. The light holds up to a 40watt bulb.

what do you people expect for $30? yes, it is made out of plastic not iron. and yes, it doesn't hold a lot but hey i get awesome bright as heck light and listen to my iPod with great high volume. also, the colors are awesome! it literarily came in 2 days and i loved it! comes packed very good and safe. so come on guys, its a great product. deff buy it!

This lamp stand got me through college! I literally used it every single day. It's cute, it held a multitude of difference items and objects, and was quite sturdy. I never had one problem with it. It went through storage, heavy use, moving and packing and came out with very minimal damage at all. It was a great buy and if I needed it, I'd buy it again! However, because it's so sturdy, I doubt I ever would need to.Compared to similar organizers with lamps, I found this one to be superior because of the great sound quality in the speakers. I could listen to my music at less than half volume and hear it anywhere in my room. It really is a great buy!

We bought this for my daughter's desk - she's loves it but my husband has called it 'less than perfect' several times. It took a lot of wiggling to get the light to work and we have never been able to get the ipod to play on it's stand. Honestly the only reason we kept it is my daughter persuaded us to, she is fine with the ipod being connected to the aux input.

Get idea for students. Can plug in i-pod at the desk and has storage for supplied. Just hard to find the right size light bulb. So buy 2 just in case. Would recommend the product.

I love my new iHome lamp! It is awesome! Although it does not charge your iPod, they said it would not. It is very useful to study because 1. You have a lamp for light, and 2. You have music you can play that can play as loud or as soft as you want! I got a blue one- and my only bad thing to say is that the color did not exactly match.. It had a lighter blue in the picture on amazon but when I got it, it was much darker. Oh well(: I love it and it comes in VERY handy. I <3 you Apple. ;)

The lamp serves its purpose but the speaker sounds like music being played via a very small megaphone. I didn't expect Klipsch sound quality but I thought it would be better than it is. It is for my tween and the main function is the lamp part so, it is, what it is...I will not order another item like this again. I don't recommend this if you are seeking decent sound quality.
