I do a lot of baking using different flours, but these tins only hold the small bags of flour, not the usual1.5kl bags sold in most supermarkets. Fortunately I use tins to keep all sorts of things and these are a handy size.

I bought this tin on Amazon prime day at 44% off. At this price they are good value, however I would not have paid the full price. A 1.5kg of flour just fits, but is very snug. Some reviews complain that the metal is thin, and it is, but thick enough to serve its purpose. Time will tell how stable they are.

These are the perfect size for a pack to fit inside snug. Well made metal, which keeps the contents fresh as well as well presented

Supermarket flour bags seem to always lead to flour all over the counter, even when sealed with a food clip, hence me seeking a suitable tin to store it. I bought this tin as it had good reviews and was reasonably priced. It is a nice looking tin, but unfortunately it arrived with a long scratch on the front which does detract slightly…Amazon offered me a refund/exchange though so I am not too bummed about it. I am also not overly impressed at the sturdinesss of the tin - the lid opens very easily. I was expecting it to click/lock into place somewhat. If the tin was to be tipped over, its contents would be all over the counter.

Bought the set of two

I've given 5* for delivery and packing but 3* for product quality equating to 4*. Speed of delivery and packing was fantastic, however the flour tin is very disappointing and extremely overpriced for what it is. The tin is very thin, and the lid is hinged which feels like it will break very quickly. Also where the hinge has been machine cut, there's areas where tiny insects may be able to get in. I would have much preferred a push fit lid or a proper fitted hinge. Finally the whole point of buying a flour tin was to keep a full sized bag of flour in, but without compacting the flour down in the tin I could barely get 2/3 of a bag in it and after compressing I was still left with about 200g of flour in the bag.
