The Breeder [DVD]

The single DVD itself offers little by way of extras, scene selection, audio set up and a trailer are the meagre goodies on offer. Essentially the story revolves around two attractive women, the restrained Amy (Theresa Joy) and brasher Sophie (Julie LeGal) who are inexplicably hiking through the beautiful Georgian mountains but seem to be hating every aspect of their holiday. Sophie soon flirts with a strange local biker they encounter in the remote wilds and then goes skinny dipping while Amy [already sensing someone is watching] sets off to try and discover exactly where they are as they've somehow reached the edge of their guide map. Enter the most weird locals you're likely to encounter, whilst in the meantime Sophie is kidnapped caveman style and dragged away feet first.This low budget movie may lack a decent script but makes the most of the remote locations to create an atmosphere of isolation tinged with menace. In places this looks like its going to be a terrifying watch but it tends to fall apart in others. The main tease is who can Amy trust in her quest to find her friend, and what is lurking in the underground experimental research bunker mentioned in the guidebook.The two leads do the best but the script is full of patronising and derogatory comments levelled at the locals and its idiotic portrayal of Georgia is annoying [lose a star]. The developments in the storyline at times seem both implausible and ridiculous causing some scenes of tension not to work and even appear laughable. [lose another star]. Placing this aside though. if you view this as a time filler and don't expect too much from it, it will not disappoint.

The slaughter footage is real, they killed something to film this crap. Just another crappy horror to add to the neverending list.

Delivery was quick i had no problems with thus seller. Was packaged well.As for the film it self I was very Dispointed with it couldn't make head nor tail of it to they wasn't much of a story and I couldn't get the point of the film. Maybe it's just me but for me this film was a complete waste of money and time.
