Q: how long is the strap?

I’m not sure of the exact length but I’m a 6 foot man and I’ve extended it long enough to sit on my hip and it could be extended further. I’m a dog walker and I find it’s ideal for treats, car keys, mobile phone and poo bags. Hope this helps?

Q: Why does my bag get wet on walks, it’s not waterproof

I have had similar complaints and I think it comes down to your definition of rain. Ridiculous though it sounds rain is defined as anything wet coming down from the sky. Of course it isnt that entirely. So rain which arrives in short but soft bursts seems to be repelled but rain that comes down as a solid wall quickly soaks through. But they both get defined as rain. I ended up wrapping stuff in plastic and then stopped using it.
