Not really no. I didn’t get on with it to be honest and soon removed it from my screen.

how well does this product work in sunlight?

There are two questions here, with the human facing into bright sunlight (so the screen is in the shade) it works fine. With the sun on the human's back and the screen in bright sunlight it is tough to use even with the laptop brightness turned right up.
