It fits nicely on my Makita tool belt, has now put my hammer in a better position that it no longer keeps banging against my legs and yes it does squeak when you walk!

The gap in the gate is too wide for Estwing hammers
It's an ok holder, but the gap in the gate is way to wide for an Estwing hammer as if it turns slightly it can just freely slide out of the holder.Still, I imagine it would be perfect for other hammers, it just isn't suitable for my needs.

Springs don't last
need's to be reinforced on the back when you strap the hammer and the springs aren't quite good. It may be because i choose to wear mine in front of the left leg

Étant charpentier je pensais que ce serait révolutionnaire. Le contact marteau/porte-marteau émet un couinement. Du coup j’ai mis du scotch pour éviter le frottement. Au final je l’utilise la plupart du temps comme un porte marteau classique.
