I’m so glad I tried this book in the series , it’s not got the errors of book one. As I said before this is a great plot line and now it’s been edited it’s worth 5*. Highly recommended series

Finds and losses
A bit slow to get off the ground but once it gets there it is a most delight surprise. I absolutely loved how Caspian found his feet and inner strength, his change was so funny and I cackled at him standing up for himself. A surprise mating leads to unexpected coupling but brings about loss too. I am so happy we see powers emerging and the big action ending was a massive shock and very emotional but we do get a teaser into what is going on with Caleb and I can't wait to find out.

Lovely interpretation
A lovely fairytale's own interpretation. Loved the story and all characters.Even I missed the first book, which I will definitely have to catch up with, it was still possible to follow the plot and understand the interactions of the characters. They show up again from first book and so will do in the next one, too. The most necessary parts will be refreshed quickly for whole understanding. Anyhow, reading in order is maybe advisable but not necessary, at least for this one.I loved the mixing of wolves and foxes in here as well as the whole fated mates thematic, which give a little steam to the mix. Characters, as used to be in fairytales, are clearly described as good or evil. Yes, of course it might be a bit predictable, but hey, all fairytales are predictable, and we know how this one ends. But the way the author creates it for us is still a lovable and sweet one. I found the balance between paranormal and real-world-life was just a great feature which made me smirk many times.By times I found it a bit rushed, but it is still a great story for just winding down and escape into another world. For this I am absolutely looking forward to the third book.I received this book for free but leave a review freely and voluntarily because I really enjoyed reading it.

Really enjoyed
I really enjoyed this Rapunzel retelling. Caspian is a total sweetheart who really blossoms throughout the story. Sean is a fox shifter, loyal to his friend Alpha Brody. As part of the rescue team to bring Caspian home to his true family, Sean wasn't counting on finding his mate. This was a fast paced story with plenty of twists and surprises. The ending was intense and I can't wait to see where this series goes.

3.5 stars
I liked this one better than the first story. Still could use some editing and character development. As far as world building, it's basically nonexistent. It all takes place in modern times with everything basically the same except shifters, magick and ABO designations exist. I don't know if there are other types of mythological creatures but so far wolves and foxes have been the main two introduced and a brief mention of bears in both books. I think I will at least read the next one because I want to see Caleb get his HEA.
