Easy to use
I've not tested the tent in the rain yet so can't comment on that side of things but what I can say is it's very easy to apply, drys quick ( you could apply this stuff on the trail as it only takes 10/20 minutes to dry) I love the consistency of the stuff it makes it super fast to apply , the only problem I have with it os the supplied brush is really thick so it makes a bit of a mess and paints the line to thick.

Brush leaked dye everywhere.
The main issue I had is that the product causes the dye in the cheap brush supplied to leak into the product, which in turn has left blue stains all over the jacket I applied it too. While I am sure the product does waterproof where it applied, it doesn't dry completely clear, so think about where/what you put it on.

Sealer
Great sealer for the seams of jackets and tents that need waterproofing.

Plastic tray would be better
Our awning was dripping from a couple of seams during heavy rain whilst on holiday last week.So purchased this Stormseal Seam Sealer. Have used Stormseal products before to repair an inflatable canoe and they are excellent. I believe the previous version of this Seam Sealer product had a sponge top to apply the solution. This new version with a brush would seem much better. It was easy to apply exactly where wanted. I used about quarter of the bottle to cover about 3 metres of seams, so it goes a long way. However, I don't think the paper tray will last long as it is starting collapse. I think a thin plastic tray (recyclable) would be a better option - even if price went up a few pennies.

IT WORKS!
After spending a lot of time I mean a lot of time in my gazebo all the wind rain and storms and hail wet have had I had quite a few holes and pin pricks seams started leaking, used this once and worked straight away considering it started raining 20 minutes after completing the job ok it's sticky I used straight out of the bottle with a art brush worked perfect easier than the brush and dodgy paper tray that came with!!!
