Pyramid Home Game

It's exactly what you're looking for if you know the TV show. 6 categories per game, all with "clever" names. Each category has six items that are all related. Use the enclosed timer (35 seconds?) and get your teammate to guess each at one point a piece. Highest score after three rounds goes on to the bonus round, where the game is flipped. Now you're given a category and you can only list off things that are found in that category to get your teammate to guess it.My wife and I both love this game, and the box set did not disappoint. Lots of games (40 total? I think?) lead to some replayability, though we're likely to have these memorized before too long. :)

The Pyramid was a show i used to watch on T.V. and played along like most people who watched it. I bought the home game for the same reason anyone buys a board game, to entertain a group of people on a quiet evening. I'm glad I ordered it. It arrived quickly, in great condition and for a great price _ I'm Very satisfied

Purchased this to practice in the hopes of being on the show. I wasn't chosen (dang!) but it's a great game to play with friends.

Good for a time

Great memories of watching this show. I owned the older version of "10,000 pyramid" and had gone through all of the questions so I was happy to see that a newer version came out! Fun to introduce to kids who are so used to video games.

This game is unbelievably difficult. The categories / answers are such that it's really difficult to guess the answers. Imagine having a table full of extremely intelligent people who play board games on a regular basis and very few answers makes sense. This game doesn't get progressively more difficult as you move up the pyramid, it's just difficult period. The answers are current, but so random that it's a complete waste of time to purchase this. I wish I could get my money back, because I clearly wasted it!The game pieces are very cheap and tedious to assemble, but this is a rather pricey board game so it's reasonable for the expectations to be that it will look a bit better than it did. Overall, thumbs down for the cards. I might re-gift this $35 waste to someone who I don't like.

This game is a blast and I was glad to find it - even if it was used. Introduced it to a new generation and we had so much playing over the holidays.
