Oh No, George!: A hilarious read-aloud classic about a dog trying his best to be good, the perfect gift for tickling funny bones

Our toddler really likes these books. This one’s our favourite. I think that’s down to the graphics and the facts there are not too many words on each page. I find he’s not interested in books like the Gruffalo as they’re too wordy and he wants the page changed before the words have been spoken. The stories are simple and so easy for little ones to understand. And the size is handy for reading with one hand - if trying to manage a story and bottle

My daughter, husband, and I just love these books. They are funny, perfect length for a little one, great illustrations, even the board the are printed on feels nice! We have collected nearly all of them so far.

My 18 month old daughter loves this book and I enjoy reading it to her too. At first I found the illustrations a little basic, I wasn't too keen on the computer generated graphic feel of it, but it's grown on me and the pictures and story work really well together...and there's no denying George has personality! It's a good one for a good reader, as you can really make it pop with voices and timing. Also it's a nice fairly short book, not too text heavy. I love that my daughter, who doesn't have many words, will very seriously say 'Oh No, cake!' when she sees the cake because she knows George is going to eat it. Also love how she laughs at the last page every single time, I've not seen any other books make her laugh like that. Recently went on holiday with friends with children and this was hit with all of them when we did the bedtime story together. Definitely worth owning this one.

Colourful illustrations, quirky characters, moral dilemmas and ends on a cliffhanger. ( ... George??!) What more could you ask for? Have read this over and over and kids feel drawn into George's naughtiness, his having to say sorry, and then ... well ... what does he do next? Always a good discussion at the end. Highly recommend for kids aged 2,3,4

My daughter’s all time favourite book. A really funny book about dog that keeps getting in trouble but he’s very apologetic.

Cute story and great for learning that when you are sorry for something, you can try to not make the same mistake next time

Witziges Buch. Es ist leicht verständlich,auch wenn man nicht besonders gut Englisch spricht. Unsere Kleine mag es sehr gerne .

L'ho letto a bambini da 3 a 6 anni, hanno seguito il racconto immedesimandosi. Hanno amato molto il personaggio George. Il testo ben rappresentato dalle bellissime illustrazioni lo rende adatto anche a bambini che conoscono poco la lingua italiana.
