Easy Learning German Grammar: Trusted support for learning

Great book. I recommend learning the german basics before getting this since certain parts are a little complicated if you aren’t familiar with German. I bought this having learned German in school and it was a good way to refresh my memory. Arrived fast and in great condition.

Just started using it and it's good so far. I am attending German lessons, but the modern method of teaching languages just isn't good enough to give one a good basis to build on, so this book is essential.

I've only just downloaded this but it's exactly what I'm looking for - a clear but detailed explanation of how German grammar works. The book explains what each part of the language is and how to use it, i.e., nouns, verbs, imperfect tense etc. This book explains all the stuff Duolingo doesn't! It's also well designed / laid out in different coloured fonts and shaded boxes. However, what I didn't know before buying on Kindle is that it's not a true eBook. For instance, you can't increase the font to make it easier to read. You can use pinch to zoom in but you must zoom out again or scroll awkwardly to see the rest of the page. Unlike other eBooks you also can't flip forward and back while keeping your place, and there are no hyperlinked page numbers or references. As noted above, it's really like reading a PDF on a screen, which is why I'm docking 2 and a half stars. The listing should make this clearer.

Good product

Good information, but way too small print for me to use without having to print it at a much larger scale. This makes the book a lot more expensive. Didn't realize it is a small book before I bought it.

I am using the book to brush up on my German which i studied at school a long time ago. I also went skiing on many occasions in Austria and German speaking parts of Switzerland, so i do know some German already. But I have not finished the book yet or tested my knowledge of German with a native german speaker recently so i cannot really tell how effective the book in terms of of having made much progress.

Excellent book .Though better purchase combo (Grammar + verbs + Vocab).

This Collins German grammar book is really as it is "easy learning."
