Burgess Sensitive Dry Dog Food Turkey, 12.5 kg

Excellent quality Labrador feed at a good price from Amazon. My female Labrador age 2.5y has had digestive problems since we had her at 12wks of age. Over the last couple of years we have to spend a lot of money at the vets having her treated for stomach/digestive disorders. She was being fed Hills Medium bred Mobility biscuit with Synoquin added daily. She had that diet recommended by our Vet due to hip issues (if you saw her in action you would never believe that she had anything wrong with her hips in the first place!). Her poohs were terrible messy smelly affairs that were an embarrassment in public places to clear up. By trial an error of alternative foods I tried her on this Burgess biscuit. However it's not quite that simple as I have an older lab and he likes wet food with mixer so feeding them both different foods had always been problematic. I contacted Burgess and they gave me the cals for their food, and I them worked out a diet that would suit both labs and cut down the effort. I feed them twice a day - my male lab (6ys) I give him 96g of Hills Large Breed Mobility and mix this into 2/3rds of a can of Chappie. The female I give her 1/3rd of a can of Chappie mixed with 128g of Burgess sensitive -Turkey and rice. This diet keeps my male at approx. 30kgs and my female at 25kg. She's no longer having stomach issues and her pooh is normal - and the cal diet allows me to give them both a few treats during a day and keep their weight under control. When I have finished the Hills biscuit stock I will change over to Burgess food for my Male Lab and use that in conjunction with Chappie. I recommend this Burgess sensitive food and it has made the life of my female lab so much better and her pooh is now normal , and I think that Chappie is a good plain easy for dog to digest food and worth giving a try.

I brought this food for my lab as he has a very sensitive belly. The food he was on was causing him problems so I needed to change to a sensitive food. I Couldnt afford to pay a arm and leg for some dog food so finding a good quality that agreed with my dogs tummy wasn't go to be easy. However I found this it's reasonable price, small biscuits so easy for him to digest and last about a month! Since putting him on this food he doesn't only enjoy it but his tummy problems have completed stopped! He can now go to the toilet properly, he has perked up loads to where he is acting his age at 3 years old and doesn't moan in pain when he lies down. If your dog suffers from loose and mucus stools, become down and quite, winces slightly when lying down then I would advise changing food and use this brand. I Am very pleased that this food has helped my dog tummy problems. Its good price, reasonable delivery time and great product. Would definitely recommend

I am very pleased with the dog food and suitable for any size dog. The kibble being small is the reason and the girls say its tasty as well.

My greyhound was not reacting well at all to 'general' complete dog food. I've tried the Burgess Sensitive turkey and rice and also the lamb and beef and the difference is instant. Firm poos and he loves the food - wallops it down. Also going down well with the foster-dog lurcher. Will definitely keep buying this product.

My dogs enjoying this food. It is a small kibble so easy for all size breeds of dog to eat. I will be back for more.

This really helped firm up Fergus's poo. He has a sensitive tummy and his skin was itchy. Its really made a difference!
