Ace, Dual channel and 7.5 windows score
This ram is the perfect kit for those building on a budget, It runs flawlessly in dual channel, it works flawlessly with amd phenom IIX4 processors (Mine is AMD Phenom IIX4 955BE C3 @3.2Ghz), smooth as silk gaming and it scores 7.5 in my windows experience index. but the best point about this kit is that it's corsair (one of best of the best brands) and costs the same as some no brand alternative, fantastic buy this ram and your computer will breeze through windows 7 64bit whilst not costing the earth. heck you could buy two of these sets for the same price as pcworld charge for one of their off the shelf kits. -Update: Just Bought a second Kit as it was going so cheap and now all 4 slots on my pc are filled so I Now Have 8GB DDR3 in dual channel: I've never owned a machine so slick and for such an affordable price.

Great Price, great product.
After s lot of reading on the interwebz I drew the conclusion that the speed jump from 1333 to 1600 in DDR3 memory was so small I should just get 1333 and so I spent days scouring the internet for the best value DDR3 1333 produced by a well know company. This memory is brilliant, worked straight out of the box with the motherboard (Asus M4A87TD/USB3) and hasn't given one fault in the last few months of ownership. Only flaw really (which isnt really a flaw for me) is that the picture implied there was a heatsink over the chips when actually its just a long sticker but as I have said the jump in speed from 1333 to 1600 is so small I wont be overclocking any time soon anyway. Conclusion, great RAM at a great price.

Double Your Memory
Given no choices as the two slots on the motherboard hold a maximum of 8GB each and the first fitted was 1600 MHz, I went for price instead and this was lowest as well as Prime (free rapid delivery). I had to clean the inside of the desktop but the DRAMM fit snugly and locked neatly in place. The machine was faulty on restart but I soon found a loose SATA cable and it booted cleanly. Delivery was fast and I must assume the computer is faster as I have yet to try any demanding work on it. I have been promising myself this upgrade for a year and I was pleased to find such a good price so I am completely satisfied so far.

Doesn't mention "Value Select" in the pictures for the 1600mhz version, or the description
The memory fits fine, and performs fine, the only thing is, that the item when received, showed "Value Select" on the packaging, this may not be an issue for some, but may affect anyone looking to overclock. The same item on scan.co.uk shows "Value" in the description, I think Amazon should update the description and the pictures, as the image shown does not show the RAM received. Not quite a good enough reason for returning, but almost :-(

Fantastic value and performance.
I bought this RAM to upgrade from 2 x 1GB DDR3 10600 from the same manufacturer. Out of the packaging I replaced my existing memory modules, and fired my machine up. POST recognises 4.196 GB, but my OS only recognises 3.5 GB, due to the fact that I am currently running Windows 7 32-bit for driver compatibility issues. The RAM increases my Windows 7 index score from 5.5 to 7.1 (and I'm sure above that when I install the 64-bit version of the operating system) Coupled with an old Q6600 2.4 Ghz quad core and an Nvidia GTX-550Ti this is quite a decent computer for gaming, and I would recommend this RAM highly for those with slightly older systems who don't want to go through a complete new rebuild to up their performance levels. The bottom line is you can't go wrong for £17.

Some good Value here
I bought four of these to give me 32 Gigabytes of RAM (I 'virtualize' software and you need the RAM overhead) in one system. No, it isn't the fastest DDR3 out there, but if you aren't an avid 'over-clocker' or PC Gamer, but require lots of RAM, these could be for you. 8Gb RAM sticks are new and a lot more expensive than 2 or 4Gb sticks, but if your PC has only two RAM slots and you need 16Gbs this is for you. If you are unsure about fitting, get a tech savvy person to do it and do make sure they are compatible. DDR3 boards with an older BIOS may not recognize them at all or only recognize half the RAN, so make sure it is on the latest BIOS. Your motherboard will also have a QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for RAM, 8Gb sticks probably won't be there on some QVLs, but from experience I have found Corsair Value Select very compatible on the boards I have used, so 99% of the time should work. Make sure your operating system supports it. A 32bit operating system will only support up to 4Gbs of RAM of which you will see no more than 3.5Gbs. A 64bit operating system supports a whole lot more, but if you are running 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium, you are limited to 16Gbs of RAM. Pros: Very Compatible Relatively cheap Cons: Slow for some PC enthusiasts 64 bit operating system compatible use only

Plug in and turn on
My two memory sticks arrived in an Amazon envelope which worried me but I needn't have as they were still in their original packs and this with the cardboard was solid. I took the packing appart and slotted the memory into my PC which had been opened and was ready. The memory pushed in easily, PC turned on and I now have 4 filled memory slots. This memory is the same as was onboard and I now run Lightroom better but when i look at what memory I am running I don't know what is the 8 year old slots and what is the new filled slots. They work and so, now, does my PC.

Reliable memory for older PCs
A useful upgrade to an older i7-4790 class PC I am still using. I always buy branded memory, like Corsair, as it's worth the extra for the reliability it provides.

If your system RAM specs are "DDR3 SDRAM 1600Mhz UDIMM PC3-12800 Non-ECC 1.5V 240 pin CL11 11-11-11" go for it. Ram should be purchased with exact specs or else they wont work. After one -8-GB RAM from Alketron worked on my system, I went for another. But unfortunately the second Alketron RAM didn't work and I had to return -3- Alketron RAMs of the same specs as first. Then i took chance with Corsair CMV8GX3M1A1600C11 which worked like a charm. I really wish and I recommend that both RAMs should had been of this model Corsair CMV8GX3M1A1600C11; as Corsair's build quality is better than Alketron's. Now the best part. The specs of my "Dell Inspiron 660s SFF 478VN DIB75R PINEVALLEY MicroAtx Motherboard Intel B75 Express Socket LG1155" system are OFFICIALLY capped to maximum -8-GB of RAM. I had 2+2 = 4GB RAM when I had bought it in year 2013. But now I have upgraded it to 8GB (Alketron Black Unicorn 1600MHz) + 8GB (Corsair CMV8GX3M1A1600C11) = Total 16GB of RAM and system is awesome fast. On top of that I have added a PCIe NVME SSD to my system which has top-notched system performance.

Bought this memory to max out my PC, 16GB total RAM. This was the cheapest I could find it although now it's cheaper still. Such is the story with just about any kind of tech, or anything really. Works as I expected and gets a 7.3 from WEI (windows experience index), which is pretty darn good considering 7.9 is the top of their scale. I would definitely recommend this memory to any that are upgrading or building a PC.

Queste DDR3 funzionano benissimo su un PC del 2012 con Windows 10 Pro e 2 dischi SSD da 1 TB. Il PC e' rinato.
