Good size patterns to copy. A!l different 'activities' for Sue to do. Eg. watering flowers or walking the dog. Ideas for materials and understandable instructions.

I have got this book to start applique as i have never done it before. the patterns look really good and not to difficultso i will enjoy them. very clear instructions and pictures to follow

I’m a quilt designer but still love some of the traditional patterns. I’m fixing to make this as a throw quilt for my great-neice who has Autism. She is 5 and loves her stuffed animals and dolls. I feel this will sooth her at bedtime and use it to cover her babies. This is a very simple appliqué pattern that can be made in a multitude of prints. I like to starch all of my fabrics to make them easier to handle and sew. I’m going to let her pick out which fabrics she wants on each little sunbonnet “Alice”. Then we will add animals or toys that she wants to see in them. She loves to makeup stories when she plays and tell them to each baby. And she can take it whenever she goes.
