I love this tape for hanging pictures.

This tape works amazingly well. It was hard to cut it with scissors bc it was so sticky!!

This sticky gel tape is amazing! I ran out of my first roll, so I purchased another. I have used it for so many things I've lost count. It works great, holds well, and makes life easier! HIGHLY recommend!

Not able to use effectively on cloth

I needed this tape to hold a lightweight, canvas frame against a vertical surface that is clean and smooth. The application is indoors and requires no load bearing...none. This tape is absolute garbage and a waste of money. It doesn't work when the outdoor temperature drops and the vertical surface, which is a fireplace surround, becomes cool to the touch. Again, no load was needed. The canvas rests on the floor. I had a similar experience with "Duck" brand carpet tape. Therefore, I should have known that I was throwing my money away buying any of their crap.

I use this inside and outside. Because I'm in an apartment, I have to be careful about hanging and/or attaching things to walls and cabinets. I used the gel tape to hang artwork, mount under cabinet lighting, and stabilize items on shelves. It works so well, you may struggle a bit to loosen it in order to adjust/reposition what you're hanging. It doesn't take much but make certain to thoroughly evaluate your needs. And best of all, it's reusable! Excellent product!!

Works as I wanted and so I have ordered multiple times

I purchased this with the purpose of securing some framed pictures on my wall that have a habit of sliding to one side or another. So far, it has been superb, and the pictures that seem to be constantly moving (a ghost, an earthquake, who knows?!) are now locked in place. I find this is especially problematic with smaller framed pictures, but I have used this on larger and smaller pictures. Sometimes the little rubber feet in the lower left corners of the back of the frame don't hold the pictures, as was the case with mine. Note that if the frame on the wall has either an easel back or already has the rubber feet, you will need to double the thickness of this tape in order to get it to work. At this time, I do not know if this tape will take the paint off the walls, but I suspect it isn't quite that strong. I will update when I find out. I purchased this tape as opposed to others because I know the Duck brand is reputable, and I have always had great luck with their products.
