Sucks up a huge amount of basting juices and the injector attachment is a great way of infusing more flavour into the meat and keeping it moist and tender. The detachable rubber suction at the top is thick enough so you don't burn your fingers whilst sucking up the juices and being detachable makes it better to clean.I did notice over time however that the constant removal of the rubber suction made it more easier to slip off and could potentially cause a severe accident. I did have one situation where the base fell off and a load of hot chicken juices gushed out. Thankfully I didn't suffer any severe injuries however I did scald 2 of my fingers, the back of my hand, and a small area on my belly that left me wincing for a few days. I think that were this a screw-top rubber suction rather than one that can just pop on and off it would be a much more safer device and I would give it the 5 stars it would've deserved.

I like this tool a lot for some obvious reasons:The size of the tube is just appropriate enough for thick condiments, if your able to inject it without the needleOn the other hand if you'd use the needle applicator, you might want to make your condiment lighter and betters till without the lumps,The applicator is easy to use and I'm grateful with the brush, its hard to come by this sizeI usually struggle when it comes to spicing up a whole roast, this comes really useful; no more worry bout under spicing my whole roastsFits well in a drawer, accumulating no space at allI guess if u ask me, it would pay off having two or three different sizing needle nozzlesStill worth recommending

Bought for my daughter, I've owned one for years. She was sick of the plastic ones melting in use. Great piece of kit, I've used it for all sorts of things besides basting. My favourite is using it to extract lovely meat juices for the gravy from below the floating fat layer in the tin.

Great kitchen tool! Keeps the meat moist!
