The only issue I have with this product is that the LED lights get hotter than the surface of the sun after less than 5 minutes and they glow red. makes it tough to make a surveillance system. There are solutions out there to reduce the redness.Overall it's a great camera

I could never get the camera to have a steady picture. it would jump and stutter and was unusable for the project I am doing. I contacted the company and sent them a video of the problem and they told me it was my fault and I needed to buy a 5V 2A power bar just to test it. I used the power supply that came with my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ (a 5V 2A unit) and it was still poor quality, I removed the lights and tried again with the same results, I tried 2 other power supply's with the same rating and still jumping and littering. I contacted the company to tell them there was still a problem and have yet to here back from them. I plan on returning the camera and buying from a better company.

Great Raspberry Pi camera. From the time I opened the package, added the IR lights, connected it and configured a motion sensing image/video recorder was less than one hour. Very simple set up. I think my next project will be a photo booth.

Spent 8 hours beating my head against a wall, going through code and trying to get this camera to work with my pi and Octoprint. Finally, decided it was a hardware issue. I returned it for a replacement and works like a charm right out of the box. Its a great camera as long as the one you receive isn't broken.

Nifty camera module to add to the robot kit. This unit supports night vision, and will be great for a guidance camera or used for one of the many tutorials available. Glad to have a variety of units to tinker with, expand skills, and find the best fit for each project. 5MP resolution provides image suitable for fine tool arm guidance.

Easy to install in the Raspberry Pi. However, the pictures this camera takes have some sort of weird filter that is applied only during daytime. It's almost like the daylight does something to the picture. This doesn't happen to other cameras.

This is a very nice camera. There were no instructions in the package but installation was very simple. You need to attach the infrared lights to the camera board with screws and nuts. The camera board is to the rear and the expansion boards are to the front. Good quality and good night vision for the money. The cable goes with the contacts towards the micro SD card side.You can use the camera by simple programming with your computer.If you ever have questions, the manufacturer actually cares and will help you!!!

I sued this in one of my projects and picture quality is really impressive and quality of the product is satisfied and working great without any additional configurations with pi just enabling camera module in configuration is enough to work with it.
