The Shaman & Ayahuasca: Journeys to Sacred Realms

This book was easy to read, worthwhile and has a warmth and soulfulness that are easy to relate to. The ideas of the unseen worlds, the healing abilities of the plants and the fact that we need to be aware of the exploitation as well as making sure that these plants are managed in a sustainable manner are very important.

It is very interesting and it gives all the information that is very important before one embarks on Ayahuasca and Shamanism. It takes all the confusions away and clarifies everything. It is a very good introduction.

I was very excited when my book arrived so fast, I started to read it there was nothing in the book that I could not understand, its very easy and clear to read. I recommend this book or anyone wanting to know about Ayahuasca and how it works. There are also some great colour pictures.

Very interesting book. I bought it because I have purchased some ayahuasca but haven't drank any of it yet. I want to learn more before doing so as I am pretty nervous - I'm almost done with this book and so fafr, I have thouroughly enjoyed it all the way.

Great stuff. Don Jose is humble and insightful and gives a great account of the experience and the plants involved in the mysterious brew. I have been fascinated with psychedelics and in particular Ayahuasca for some years now, this book just makes me want to take the leap even more!
