A really good little unit; this nail grinder works a treat with my two border terriers. Despite long walks, their foot shape means my girls nails tend to get long and sharp. This tool has worked really well. Light yet robust. Once charged, the battery is more than adequate to treat both dogs claws. The noise level is really low and the light means you can see exactly what you’re doing, making it safe to use and stress-free for both me and my girls. They’ve taken to me using the drill really well, and even fall asleep while I’m reducing their nail.

This is a great product. My dog absolutely hates having his nails done. We normally have to pay for sedation, which is costly. This grinds through really quickly. I mark my dogs nail where I want to get to. Managed all his claws in les than an hour. Where normally I'm lucky to get one nail a night.

This dog nail grinder seems to do the job alot quicker than other dog nail grinders, which is a good thing. The grinder itself does have very low noise BUT the noise of the nail when the grinder is on it is quite loud which defeats the object somewhat. Grinding is alot safer for dogs if you can get them used to it as you can closer to the quick and see when you are there before it is too late. I am not sure if I will continue using this grinder though as I currently use a regular dremmel and although very noisy it is even faster and it doesn't make the vibration and noise that this dog nail grinder does.

Nice and quiet . . . But makes a noise when in contact with the nail . . . which the dog did not like. But a few days, little try at a time, and the dog was fine with it. Now settles and lets the nails get trimmed. Better than clippers. Great

Upgraded my old basic nail grinder to this after reading reviews, and getting sick of grinding my dogs black nails for ages with very little results. So pleased I gave this a try - I only used it on the first speed so as not to freak my dog out, as he is only used to a low setting. Even on the lowest, it worked really well and I have made some headway in trimming those claws! I will gradually up the speed in the future. The little light is handy too - a feature I didn't know I needed until I used it.

This was a really good item initially. Worked really well on my rottweilers claws, until it ran out of charge, I charged it with the cable it came with and also tried an alternative one but the product itself wouldnt hold the charge rendering it useless, then because it exceeded the 30 day return there was no option to send it back or have it replaced, however after contacting Amazon themselves I have been issued with a refund on return of the product, so I would advice on checking that you can charge the product effectively before your 30 days are up. I may have just got a defective one which is sad as I stated it was really good apart from the charging issue.

Bought this nail grinder as an upgrade for our old nail grinder that had been worn down so much (which me and my dog are proud of our hard work for!)This new grinder is so perfect and makes a hard job so much easier! The light is perfect and helps guide you across their nails and fur! There are also 6 speed options which you can select from and each setting is noisier/ quieter as you go through them. For example, if my dog has had a busy day on the beach and is not in the mood for having his nails done, you can pick a quieter setting that is just as fast to do a quick trim. We usually use the 3 setting and it’s quick enough and firm enough for a good trim even in a hurry!!Hugely recommend. If is pricey but remember it means no nail clipping, no squinting in the dark and a happier dog with such a quiet nail grinder! My last one also lasted 6 years so I’m hoping this one will last just as long or hopefully longer!

Okay so not as quiet as some or as expected considering the marketing around being almost silent. However…. My dog is 13 and never have I been able to cut his nails without muzzling and a battle. I have used this several times now and although there is a small protest he lets me do it. I haven't had to use the muzzle once. Brilliant product and he much preferred it.It does get louder the higher you go I’ve only attempted level 4. And I now wear a mask as nail dust goes everywhere.
