Roland Tm-2 Acoustic Drum Trigger Module , 2 Inputs

This is Roland's best kept hybrid drumming secret! Fabulous little module, with deep functionality of sounds and ability to load up your own WAV files samples. The key to success with this is to setup sensitive triggering and threshold low enough that you can still maintain dynamics. The Roland acoustic snare trigger works very well with the TM-2 and for example you could have a 808 hand claps on the rim of the snare. With Stereo to dual mono plugs you can expand the triggering. Quite versatile. I'm running a side vDrums pad hat I can put percussion sounds on and a snare and bass drum trigger. Other configurations could be a bar trigger to trigger samples from a SPD-SX for example or TM-2 elements or internal WAV files.Very well priced and highly recommended for those who want to layer their acoustic sounds or add simple hybrid elements to their existing set up. Fantastic product for the money great sounds for bass and snare easy to set up and add built in reverb and tune etc .Can be used with splitter cables to allow 4 triggers only thing has not got is a ride cymbal but you can import your own sounds .10/10

An excellent bit of kit. I stuck some mesh heads on an old drum kit and used splitter cables to allow 4 triggers on this unit. That's my snare kick and two toms. I then have some zildjian low volume cymbals for home practice. So much better than rubber pads!This unit has finally given me a setup I can play at home and not feel like it's a compromise.

An excellent piece of kit and it's easy to get the hang of the various layers etc. The APC33 mounting plate is expensive but worthwhile.

didnt work straight out of the box, screen was frozen and module power button wouldnt turn off. it started working and i messed around for an hour using a roland rt30hr trigger on a snare. it was a great bit of kit. the following day it froze again and that was that. i will be ordering another so hopefully the 2nd one will be fine.

stopped loading up after a few weeks. was sent back to roland....i got it back....still not working right.

This product is amazing. I am a metal drummer so we need a tight sound when it comes to playing fast. I mainly use it for my bass drums and frankly, it is up to my expectations.

Great brain easy to use, stock sounds are ok but you can find better ones. Great for triggering the bass drum at the jam space, have yet to use it live
