Good Quality
I've bought similar products in the past that didn't last long but this item is very sturdy and holds well. Definitely recommend

Moves too much
First I couldn’t get my water bottle out without pulling the whole thing up from the car cup holder because of the rubber pieces. So I took two out and that helped so I could take the bottle out. The other issue I don’t like about it is that it moves forward and back when the bottle’s in it. I seldom use it.

Works well even for my largest water bottle
The cup holder in my car is pretty tight. It will fit some of my yeti cups but not all and it isn’t even close to fitting the water bottle I use to hike with (32 oz Nalgene I think … see pic). This item lets me take just anything I want in my cup holder.Pros… super easy to install. Just plop it in your cup holder and spin the top. The bottom section has expandable and retractable fins that fit the holder snugly in the car’s cup holder. It does snug up tightly even in my car’s oddly configured cup holder. My car’s cup holder has rubber bumpers inside that I thought may be problematic for this cup holder expander. You can sort of see them in the empty cup holder in the pic, but they were not an issue at all. Once installed, plop a cup in and you are good to go. The inside of the expander’s cup holder has an indentation for smaller diameter cups, like the yeti in the picture, for a little extra stability. Finally, I have a different expander in another car. That one came with a rubber insert to go into the bottom of the holder to keep cups from rattling if driving on bumpy roads. This one did not come with that and I feared my cup would rattle around on the hard plastic bottom of the cup holder. That did not turn out to be the case, at least in my driving around on city roads and highways.Cons … only one and it is very minor. I was surprised when I opened the package at how short the bottom section of the expander was. It does not fit all the way down to the bottom of my car’s cup holder. My concern was that it may end up being to top heavy and it might tip, however, I think it fits snugly enough that this does not matter. I haven’t had any issues in the couple of days I have been using it. One final thought… this is designed for big items. If you had a thin cup or maybe even a short paper travel cup you would probably be better off using your car’s built in cup holder.Overall I am really happy with this item.

Does not fit 2023 Subaru Outback
Seems like a solid product, but the mounting end is too short to work with the my car's cup holder. The cup holder adapter never firmly grips to the car's cup holder. Don't recommend for 2023 Subaru Outback drivers.

This bottle holder is just about perfect
If you use a larger personal water bottle, you are probably familiar with the difficulties of storing your bottle during car travel. Most cars - especially compact cars and rental cars - have cup holders that are a fixed size, about as wide as a take-out cup or a 20 oz plastic water bottle. You end up putting your water bottle on the passenger seat, but it inevitably ends up on the floor of the car and you have no ability to drink from it during a trip. I’ve been on the lookout for car bottle holders for this reason, to make traveling with my water bottle a bit more convenient. This BottlePro Max bottle holder is really well made, keeps my bottles secure, and is very adjustable to accommodate different OEM car cup holder sizes. I would recommend it for others who are looking into similar purchases.Pros:- The base of the bottle holder is adjustable (via twisting) to fit multiple different sizes of cup-holders. The claim is 2.5” - 4”; I verified it will work in the OEM cupholders for an SUV as well as the backseat cup holders and car seat cup holders. This also makes installation and removal super quick / simple- Rubber tabs in the bottle holder keep slimmer bottles from rattling around, but also leave plenty of room for larger bottles to be inserted without force. The tabs are semi-rigid, but I was able to easily remove my hydroflask and thermoflask bottles without having the rubber boots come off- There is a foam bottom to the bottle holder so you won’t damage the OEM cup holders, just in case you have a fancy cup holder- I verified that the BottlePro bottle holder can fit 12, 20, and 32 oz hydroflasks, including their rubber boot. I also verified that it can fit 40 oz thermoflask (which is about the same footprint as a 40 oz hydroflask). I verified that it cannot fit a 64 oz hydroflask.- Convenient cut-out for a mug handle, if you have that style bottle (or if you are placing an actual mug into it)Cons:- The bottle holder base fits into the OEM cup holder, and the entire base is the adjustment mechanism / fitment arms. This means your bottle sits above the cup holder. If you have a tall water bottle, the height of that water bottle could get in the way of other functions like gear shifts, radio / climate control knobs, and phone mounts. This problem is not particular to this bottle holder, but applies to all bottle holders in general.

It is okay
I have 2 types of these, one for each car. This one is not as good as my original one. It is similar but the other was same price and had better look, feel and features. I provided measurements on the diameters of top and bottom fully closed and opened. It fits fine in my car cup holder, I have an older 04 and it works. The top plastic has a cheap feel to it, thin plastic and the little rubber things are pretty weak and give me concerns on longevity. It holds my contingo coffee mugs which is great, and the primary need for this was a 30 oz insulated water bottle that was to big for my car holders. This holds it just fine with room to spare. This cup holder is alright, it expands and holds tight into the cup holder so it is secure and not tippy with the big bottle in it. I like it, it does the job, just there are better options out there.

Nice cup holder
I have a coffee cup that is too wide to fit into any car cup holder. This solved the problem. This cup holder expands to practically any size you'd want and secures very well into your existing car's cup holder. Once it's tightened up in place I have no worries of it tipping over. It even has a slot on the side to accommodate a cup handle. Would recommend.
