Q: Hello, i was wondering where the record button for recording mic to cassette was or do you just use the button that records the mp3's?

Dear customer, the SD card can stay in the slot, please kindly know when the SD card is inserted into the card slot, about 3/1 will be exposed outside the card slot. You need to push the SD card in with your fingers or fingernails. When it is fully pushed in, there will be a ticking sound.
