Sensky BS010WL 12V-30V 3A PIR Motion Sensor Switch Distance Time Lux Adjustable Light Sensor Switch(White, with Light Sensor)

Got this to be able to switch the Ikea cabinet lights as there was little alternative. Had to cut the cables to attach but it works great (just make sure polarity is correct). The plastic cover can be easily removed which exposes sensor controls on the board. I did cover the cable entry and two small holes of the cover with the hot glue as well as it was in the bathroom.Me wife happy and I am happy

The initial one that was sent to me had issues with the Lux adjustment. I got intouch with the seller and they sent me a replacement which is working flawlessly.

I have been using this sensor in for a week and it seems very good. The adjustable delay, light and motion sensors are ideal. it is easy to setup, i have mine connect to the mains via a led driver. The only reason i have given it a 4 star is that although it says the time delay can be set to a max of 280s (on the box),the one i have will only do 240s. But it does say in the item description that it could 360s.if you are using the light sensor I would say that you will need to experiment with the adjustment, I gave up finding the perfect setting and set it on the lowest. I would also suggest that when tuning the light and motion sensor, to reduce the delay time to 10s. Other wise you will have to wait for the time to end before seeing a true picture of the adjustment.

Light never turns off.Might as well be a piece of wire in a box.This thing gets really hot.Avoid!

This was pretty much the only type of sensor I could find available when setting up my LED strips.Got it put together with LED strip setup fairly quickly, however I had to fiddle with setup potentiometers few times as it wasn't as intuitive as expected.Finally I got it set to the required distance, time and sensitivity level - as much sensitivity level and timer was working perfectly normal, but distance was all over the place - sometimes picking up motion when close approx 1.5m only, sometimes at close and long distance (even up to 4-5m).It got me annoyed enough that it was just now replaced with another set where sensor is set remotelly - happy now.This one will most likely be scrapped.

This compact pir does a good job of what it is made for at 12/24vdc control switching. It is tiny and unobtrusive. Before leaving a review I have waited a few weeks as not sure if it would last or work correctly or be reliable. Need not have been concerned because 100% good and have since purchased more. Used for proximity switching led strip as an example.

I bought this one to replace the other one that I suspect I broke by mistakenly swapping input and output...I have not had anything with adjusting this one but the defaults are quite good - it is about 6 metres detection distance and 15-20 sec power on... Th plastic that the sensor is embedded into is quite crumbly though - take care then mounting.

This is actually a nifty little gadget - took a bit of experimenting to get decent lux/movement settings (not entirely sure the diagram on the pack was correct) but now it’s working great for lighting up the garage. Only comes on when it’s dark enough to need it and no longer need to worry about switches. Works perfect from 12v battery.
