FANTASTI
This stuff really works! Take your time working with it . . . but it really does a great job of sealing. We'll see how long it stands up to summer sun and winter freezing.

Great product
Buy this stuff for waterproofing! After revealing my rv roof 4 years ago with white eternabond I have become a huge fan. No failures of the adhesive at all baking in the colorado sun.I am so convinced of its durability I sealed the outside seams on my deck membrane with it. Around posts and seams. It adhered well to EPDM and the metal flashing. It even stuck to wet pressure treat (although I don't expect long term adhesion). Great product, worth every penny for ease of use and durabity.

excellent
Lasts and seals damaged roofing with granules. Under sun 20 years. Low slope roof and some small puddles.edit 10-2017: Automotive Authority is selling this about $10 cheaper. What you get is unwrapped (clean) roll. Looks like genuine Eternabond tape. But the diameter of the roll is 1/4" short. For that reason I'm trying to return it even though the seller is insisting it is the same as retail version. The seller is using retail version photo and riding on high review rating, but selling the bulk version is misleading. Also it is a bit hard to believe that machine rolled tape can be short as much as 1/4" inch in diameter. Even if bulk length is same, I will pay retail price for the assurance.edit: Automotive Authority paid for free return shipping of the bulk tape and sent me retail tape. For it's commitment I give kudos for this seller. But now I see somebody else is the seller. I would find out just what you are getting. BTW the retail roll was full 1/4 inch more in diameter.

Sealed a roof leak on my house with no fuss
After a few days of rain, the water found its way past some flashing on the roof. I bought this and the primer, brushed loose debris off, laid down the Eternabond seal, job done, leak is fixed. I did use a roller to make sure it was fully pressed down.My brother used this to seal a 6" diameter hole that a branch had punctured in his shed roof. He used this stuff 15 years ago, it is still not leaking.

We're pretty stupid, but I think this product saved our bacon - err roof.
Why do we have a large flat roof area? I think maybe the builder ran out of money or something and decided a flat roof was the way to go. Unfortunately, we live in the NE and with the heavy snowfall this year, we had over 3.5' of snow over the 1000' flat roof. We were concerned about the weight, so we went out the window and shoveled it off. Small problem, it had built up over 3 months and had a good chunk of ice in the snow. Here's where we are dumb: We used a shovel to break the ice, then scooped it off using a shovel. We punctured the membrane, and it even tore a bit in some parts.I purchased this product because my parents have had a roofer come in to repair their roof every year for the past 3 years and it's about $1k each time. I read lots of pretty good reviews online about this product, and for some reason I've found that RV people are the handiest most informed reviewers. Strange right? I guess they need a lot of maintenance or maybe it's just older people with more experience. That's just speculation. Anyway, I purchased this with a rubber roller, went to the hardware store to by denatured alcohol and got on the roof again.I wiped the area down with warm water then brushed on some denatured alcohol to clean the area further. I wiped that off pretty quickly, then I very lightly sanded the area with a medium high grit sandpaper, just to scratch it up a bit. Then I wiped again with the rag that cleaned the alcohol off and applied the tape. I would recommend the steel roller, as I feel like I wasn't getting the kind of pressure I needed from the rubber roller. I rolled my heart out until I saw a bit of the glue sort of spread out beyond the edge of the tape a bit. Because it was so cold, I used just a few seconds of my heat gun over the area, and rolled a little bit more.So far so good, we've had a couple rain storms and nothing is coming in (not that we had the problem yet, we were trying to be proactive like with the shovel thing). I inspect them pretty frequently and they seem to be holding. I think the true test would be another snow storm, but I'm not going to hope for that. Also, I'm interested to see how it holds up in the heat of summer, the roof is black (as is the tape) and it gets really hot. I still have a ton left, so I may do some of the seams just in case.

Eternabond RoofSeal Black
was used to seal a windshield leak on my 1996 Winnebago Adventurer. As the steel frame that the windshield is sealed to is starting to rust, the seal is starting to leak inside the motorhome. I used this product to seal between the fiberglass roof and the glass windshield. No More Leaks! :)You must be careful when applying this product as it's very sticky. Once it's applied you do not want to try to remove it.I've used this product over 10 years ago on the roof to seal a leak. It has never been touched and is still holding like the day I applied it over 10 years ago.I highly recommend this product to those who need to stop leaks in an RV.

Low cost fix
This product works great for patching small holes, or lifting seams, on EPDM membrane roofs. The roof of my facility has had some of the seams start to lift. If I catch them before they go too far this is a great inexpensive way to seal them back up. If the overlap seam does separate more than and 1", Eternabond make a double sided version of this tape to adhere the seam back down before using this product. There is a video on YouTube that explains in greater detail how to best use this product. Great patch tape for EPDM pueblo style flat roof
This stuff is amazing. Have a pueblo style flat roof on my garage that started leaking around the drain hole. It appeared to have been repaired once before with some sort of rubber and duct tape, surprised I didn't have issues sooner. The roof has what I believe is EPDM, I scrubbed it with a brillo pad, used surface cleaner and applied. Take care not to stretch the tape as you are laying it down, it won't hold that way. It's made it through 10" of snow at around 25°F and the subsequent melt with flying colors. I'll try to remember to update at the end of the summer.

good stuff
I ordered white Eterna Bond several years ago and it was very thick. We used it to seal any seams on the roof of our previous trailer and it was great. I still have some but the trailer we have now has black gutters so I ordered the 4 inch black tape. I'm disappointed with the thickness of this tape compared with the white tape but it remains to be seen if it's as good as the thicker tape. We will find out in the spring I guess.Update--We used some on our trailer roof that had developed some cracks and it seems to have sealed the roof so no water can enter. Happy customer.
