Happy choice, big and easy to mount
The downside is it is hard to fit it back in, after the first unpack (but which tent isn't?). The "assembly philosophy" is different from the other tents (you put together the OUTSIDE first, then the INSIDE will fit in it), but even if you do mistakes, it's forgiving and will keep up even with easy wind or light rain. 2 people fit comfortably, space in the opened area more than 2 big backpacks fit easily. The bottom part of the outside tends to "glue" with the inside, making it wet internally if it rains: just be more accurate when mounting that.We assembled it for the first time at night, with only a lamp and after a 10 hrs flight + 32hrs without sleep: we did not freeze, so it has to be easy!

Good tent, quite time consuming to put up though
Went camping with this tent last weekend - it comes in 3 main pieces - the outer sheet, the sleeping flysheet and sewn-in groundsheet, and a separate groundsheet that is loose for the entrance section of the tent. It goes up fairly quickly (took me about 20 mins the first time) but is a bit fiddly. I wouldn't really want to put it up in the rain since I think it could end up a bit wet at the end... Because its not a dome shape, when putting up the outer shell you do need to use the guy ropes in order to be able to keep the tent stable, but its not too much of a hassle. The inner groundsheets just clip into the outer when that's put up.Given it 4 stars as its a bit more difficult and fiddly to put up than a regular dome, but then it is bigger when its up and also quite a lot cheaper than a comparable sized tent. Plenty of space for bags etc in the inner storage area, and if it gets messy in there would be easy to clean out as its separate from the flysheet. Pleased in general with this.

A nice little tent
A nice little tent, and not just nice for the price, although I wouldn't pay any extra for a tent of this size. It is very comfortable for me and my son to stay in. We've only had a 3 nighter in it so far, but we could easily have stayed in it for a week. It rained non stop for about 20 hours, and no leaks. Make sure the bottom of the front door is outside the porch groundsheet tho, so water doesn't collect in the porch. Very easy to put up, and take down. A tight squeeze to get it back in its back, but in good weather with some time, I'm sure I could pack it as well as when it came. Enough height in the porch to sit on a camping stool to eat, without my head touching the roof. I'm 5' 6" tho. I'm a rugged no luxuries sort of camper, so this was perfect for us. Other people may prefer to be able to stand and walk about in their tent, but this feels like the best tent I couldve got for my needs and the price

Terrible Customer Service on this product
Though the tent was initially very pleasing a pole broke and getting a replacement via Coleman Customer Service has been an awful experience. They do not have any spare poles or pole sets for this tent and when I asked why they support other Coastline tents but not this one their operative took offense and put the phone down on me. I then thought I would register my displeasure at this but ringing an option other than Customer Services get you a 'leave a voice mail' then a 'voice mail full' set of messages followed by 'goodbye'. I have lost confidence in Coleman and shall buy from a different manufacturer - be warned!

Good tent but needs a bigger bag.
There is only one VERY frustrating downside, but I'll get to that after the positive. This tent is perfect for me traveling on my own for kayaking. The porch is spacious enough to keep kit in and over the never ending rain we had last month this kept me dry and didn't leak. A camped doesn't really fit in this without touching the flysheet which is annoying but I make it work. Now the bad point. Getting back into its bag is a task which takes skill. You will have to master the art of origami to get the thing back into its bag. I gave up as I could not do it at the campsite. I folded each part up as airtight as I could and it still put up a fight. I am sure I have damaged the bags zip in the process. I think coleman should just provide this with a slightly bigger bag, as it would make life 1000000 times easier. I will have to find my own bag for this one. I am not the only one with this complaint, as a couple other fellas with this tent agreed with me.
