Nice but it seems to be made of very similar ...
Nice but it seems to be made of very similar glass to the hario ones. They both cracked in the dishwasher in almost exactly the same place.

Cold coffee
You'll take a year trying to figure everything out to get the coffee just right. But the dirty secret here is that using this method, the coffee is just not hot enough. I know you don't want that. You might get the ratio after an ungodly amount of fiddling. And you'll think, 'Boy, this does taste great.' but....that 'but' in the back of your mind says 'Not hot.'Oh, and you need to buy the pouring kettle if you want to do it right. And that's another big expense. Not worth it.

Not Made in Japan
I bought this because I needed a carafe for brewing coffee. The product description and sticker on the box indicate that this is made in Japan, but this is made in Thailand. The glass has "Made in Thailand" written on it. The carafe is great though. Seems pretty sturdy and I like the shape. Please remove all the references to made in Japan from this product listing.

Cute little carafe
This is a really cute little carafe. I’ve been using it for pour overs; however, it would also make a lovely little teapot. It does feel very fragile; I hope it lasts.It’s a bit awkward to wash as the opening is quite small. Overall, I am very pleased with it.
