Infallible Matte-Lock Primer

I bought this because I saw a picture of myself where my face was really shiny, even though I had makeup on. I looked online for recommendations on how to cut down the shine and I saw all of the positive reviews for this product. After I tried it one time, I was hooked. I apply this before I put any makeup on and it works wonders. It has a nice matte finish. One tube lasts a long time because you only need a tiny bit for each application. And, it helps to keep your foundation in place throughout the day. Highly recommend!

I didn’t know how much I needed primer until my daughter suggested it for my slightly blotchy 71 year old skin. It allows my light foundation to go on smoothly and gives my complexion a more even look.

I tried to purchase this on Amazon but had to return it. Since the product was discontinued, I have to watch the manufacture dates. You can look this up on the internet. This particular product was too old and I was concerned about using it. I would have rated this a 5 star but I’m cautious about the old manufacturing dates.

I have oily skin and I recently started using a new makeup (Too Faced). Although the makeup was a perfect shade for me, I found that it was a lot more 'oily/dewy' looking than any makeup I've ever use. Since I loved the shade, I thought I would find a primer that would help subdue the shine. My research pointed towards Loreal Infallible. I tried it and LOVED IT. It doesn't matte the make; however it definitely gives it a more natural tone. Will purchase again!

I bought this because I buy the Oil of olay line filler before it was discontinued, I loved that product and this was suppose to work the same way. It doesn't. The color of the product is white, not cream like Oil of olay line filler. It does not fill in the lines or the pores the way Oil of Olay line filler does. It did matte a little but again not like the oil of olay. So, if you never used oil of olay line filler you might think this product works, but to compare the two Oil of Olay should have never discontinued the Line Filler.

I love using this primer! It helps so much by giving your skin a smooth surface for makeup application. I’ve tried others that make my face too greasy but this one doesn’t so that. I highly recommend it!
