I ordered these because one of the paddles came out of our washer after a load of towels. I believe it had already been loose anyway, because it did rattle a little. After washing the towels, I heard a loud clunking, only to find the paddle spinning with the towels....all of the plastic tabs had snapped off.These replacement paddles are good quality, a perfect fit for our Hotpoint washer, and installed very easily - they just snap into place. I am very happy with these. I only needed to use one, so I didn't replace all 3. But I like knowing we have the other 2 just in case any more paddles break. It's always good to have spares. These are very good value for the money!

I've had these for about 4 weeks now & survived many a wash! I originally ordered as the current paddles in my washing machine broke off bar one. Upon calling the supplier 'Hotpoint' I was quoted nearly £40.00 for 2 which really upset me so I thought I'd take a chance on here Amazon. I'm so far very pleased. They fitted in really well & locked so no movement whilst washing - courtesy of the boyfriend ;)The paddles are a little longer than the original ones in my washing machine but they do the job.Very happy & with the price which is a fraction of what Hotpoint quoted. I recommend.

Unfortunately these paddles only attach onto the drum by tiny and flimsy plastic tabs on the underside. These do not grip tightly enough to stop them working loose during the spin cycle. I've yet to manage three washes in a row without hearing the loud bang and vibrations caused by some or all of the paddles falling out. When they do fall out it also tends to damage the already weak plastic tabs so there isn't even enough left to try reattaching them.I've ended up getting some heat and water proof super glue to fix these somewhat more securely to the drum. Since this kind of super glue pops up in the "often purchased together with this product" recommendations, I'm guessing I'm far from the only person to resort to this.The underlying problem is of course the idiotic design of the drum on these models of washing machine. The paddles should be built into it, or at the very least have sturdy metal clips to hold them tightly in place. Don't expect these to be more than a very short term fix.

We have a Hotpoint (HV8D393) washing machine which had broken paddles, we were very close to buying a new washing machine, until I found these... They fitted well on my washing machine, but they only seemed to last a month or two before they made a horrific banging noise in my washing machine and broke off again. Luckily the pack came as a 3, so I could replace the paddles that come off. I have purchased about 2 sets of these now and thought maybe something wasn't right. These are a good replacement, however I have now paid a bit more on a similar product from Hotpoint which seem to be a bit more stable and fit better... so hopefully these last longer.

Good sturdy quality, easy to fit and feel better than the ones direct from Hotpoint.Thought I would have to get either a new machine or pay to have someone look at it and do it. Either way it has saved me a considerable amount of money.Fantastic value for money, get three here whereasfor a similar price Hotpoint would only supply one (that is if you can find the part on their site. Too many issues with that to write here)Have recommended this product to others.
