Yankee Candle Advent Calendar 2017 Wreath Scented Tea Light Candles Set

Good quality from Yankee Candle and variety of festive scents as always. Includes two of the four newest Christmas scents. The only downpoint is the tealight holder is under door 24. Could be more useful under door 1. However, that said, it would make a beautiful gift.

I was a bit surprised at the quality. The tea lights are loose inside, with no lid or packaging so the scents are all mixed up, and then there is one glass tea light holder in the last door (24) of the advent calendar, which is not the most sensible design. Nothing is labeled, and so I am left to guess which scent is which after they all have been mingling together. I guess this is an American company? Is that why the quality is so cheap? I expected a bit more for the price.

I love Yankee candles and their Christmas Range. All the smells were gorgeous and I couldn’t wait to open the calendar every day.I couple of minor points I was disappointed in. Firstly it didn’t include the Christmas cookie which is my favourite Christmas smell. And secondly the big door on the 24th December was just a tea light with a tea light holder...surely if I needed a holder I should have had that on day 1....the previous year’s Yankee advent calendar came with a larger candle on the 24th which I thought was a better idea.

We have been getting the kids Advent calendars for years. Someone decided to treat herself to a make up Advent calendar for 2018 but needed to have one for me as well so the kids wouldn’t think that I was being left out. I think it was reduced in price by approx 50%So, I ended up with an Advent calendar that I neither wanted or needed AND I was facing into a month of pretending to be overjoyed every time I opened up a window and found...ANOTHER CANDLE!But then I lit the first few candles and they added to a very winter or Christmas-like atmosphere in the house and I started to get into the spirit.I think there might have been a few repeats but I’m not the most accurate smeller.

I bought this for my mum as a fun advent calendar for her.I was so pleased with the price since I know Yankee Candles can be on the expensive side.The advent was completely intact and none of the doors had opened in shipping which was great, it came very well packaged.The candles themselves are great, if you've had Yankee Candles before you know they have a really strong scent and fantastic burn time. Even though my mum opened them everyday we actually had a backlog of candles because they were lasting such a long time after we lit them in the evening.Overall I am defiantly thinking about purchasing one again for 2019!
