This review has been written by my better 3/4 who is turning into quite an accomplished amateur photographer - certainly well beyond my standards and this set was used by her for some smoke type photos.I am a keen amatuer photographer and during lockdown 2020 have attempted a few challenges set by a photography group and it soon became apparent that certain tasks are almost impossible without a flash.I still have a lot to learn in the subject and lack the technical knowledge of what goes with what which, is why when it came to choosing a flash I wanted a 'package' so I could be confident that they would work together.I have other Neewer products and have found them to be very reliable and just as good as branded so felt sure this system would prove a worthwhile purchase, and it certainly has.Within the kit is the flash unit, trigger, stand for the flash when used remotely, coloured filters, rubber band to attach filters to flash, soft box and clamp for the soft box - a pretty comprehensive set, everything to get started with flash photography.Both the flash and trigger have a protective cover over the attachment ends and these need to be removed before use and I would recommend refitting when not in use to protect the connectors. The flash is easy to attach to the camera and following the step by step instructions was fairly easy to start using.The more complicated part in my opinion, is not changing the settings but understanding the effect the settings will have on your finished photo, but that would be the same for any flash.Once I had got the flash working on my camera, I switched to setting it up as a remote device, once again, following the instructions this was relatively straight forward.The flash can operate in auto mode, whereby it takes it's setting from the camera or in manual mode giving the user the control over its output for a more creative effect.This purchase was prompted by the challenges of 'smoke' and 'bubble' photography as I was getting despondent not being able to achieve the results I'd seen in the YouTube tutorials often watched for help and advice and I honestly didn't believe a flash could make so much difference to the end results.I can highly recommend this package as good value for money and the relative ease of set up (following the instructions) and has opened up a whole new world of inspiration for rainy day photography when you are stuck indoors or in lockdown ....And just for information I used a Sony A7 for the pictures.

Great kit for starters or experienced users.You can easily add more flashes as you need them as the trigger with support up to 5 groups each with different settings.

I highly recommend this if you're using the Sony A7iii

This flash is so fun to play with! I love the filter set it came with, it has a lot of different colors to play with which is exactly what I was looking for to make the lighting in my photos purple/blue. The softbox was also a sweet add on. Thanks!
