Yes, this charger is designed to charge the oem lithium ion batteries that come with these HT's. I have had my chargee for years and it still works flawlessly.

Q: Anyone else see their light flash green and then back to red?

I could not get mine to work until I placed a cut off plastic wire tie behind the metal contacts. The I finally was able to get a battery to charge. Pretty lame but it does work.

Q: How do the indicator lights work ? so far i have seen full red, flashing green and full green.

Red (orange) = charging; Flashing green = almost fully charged; steady green = fully charged.

Q: will this work for a yaesu ft60R??
