Vineworks Fair Trade, Handmade Metal Christmas Star Ornament from Haiti

I have been to Haiti a few times and it so happens my son is from there. I have started buying Fairtrade Christmas ornaments from there. It helps support jobs and ultimately, fights hunger. There are those who experience "food insecurity" as it is now referred to, in this country, I know, and I try to support groups who fight it here also. But until you've been to Haiti, you don't know what poverty is. And the nicest people!! Anyhow, I digress. I just got the metal star, which is a coppery silver, and it is beautiful. The bead at the top is a beautiful finishing touch. I think I need to get the angel also. Can't wait to put it on the tree!

This is perfect for my grandson, who gets a star Christmas ornament each year. Plus it supports Haiti who is in dire need of our help. Highly recommend
