The best dark baking chips yet. I was so pleased to find this product on amazon. The bag is huge, but that's a good thing; it will last a while in an air tight container in my pantry. Also I love the smooth way this chocolate melts. There is no sugar added, so I can control that on my end - I use my own blend of homemade vanilla sugar when I make drinks with these chips. This chocolate was easy to temper too, which I found to easier than usual, not sure why. Very excited to make authentic rich hot chocolate now.

This is the real thing. All chocolate - no sugar. I like to make terrific food that is healthy, not loaded with sugar and brings raves from friends. This is the chocolate I use. I love the deep chocolate taste that works in cookies and one of my favorite non-dairy, no back cheesecake. If you enjoy healthy cooking, this is what you need.

I thought these were the worst tasting cacao wafers I or cacao period, that I ever tasted. It doesn't taste near as good as the other brands I purchased in the past but I am now getting used to the taste and the quality I received and freshness helps make up for that. I see other people got bags have melted so I guess it happens to all companies now and then seeing that's why I tried this brand. Last bag I got from a different company was a disaster. I do not like how once you cut the bag open, which is VERY big, you cannot reseal it. That makes no sense. But yeah, the taste is nothing to write home about but at least they are fresh and seem very good quality. UPDATE: As fresh and quality "looking" these wafers are, they still taste nastier than any other brand I've tried and while I did get used to the nasty taste as I LOVE the affect and energy cacao gives me, so I can sacrifice the taste to an extent for the affect. But I've now noticed they make me feel a little nauseous and honestly kind of crappy. So bought the old brand just to see if it was something else causing it. And not only did the old brand make me feel like cacao normally makes me feel as well as tasting WAY better, but also I didn't need to eat half as much to get me charged up and going. I'll Never buy these again 🤮

One of the challenges that I'm facing where I live is getting Ghirardelli chocolate. I know what you're thinking: You must live in Papua New Guinea! Although I appreciate the thought, I actually live in a first world country, but supply chain issues are inhibiting me from getting Ghirardelli baker's chocolate, and this has happened for a few years now. I have used other brands since that time, but nothing matches Ghirardelli's flavor and smoothness--unless I want to spend scores of dollars. This bag allows me to portion out things, and the value of such a large bag make this purchase worth it: It comes out to be perhaps the least expensive option for any quality baker's chocolate on the market.

I just got my order. I always liked the taste of this brand chocolate, and for sure this 100% unsweetened cocoa will not disappointing me, just look at the expire date it makes me consider, it will expire in 4 months, who can eat 5 pound chocolate in 4 months? Since chocolate is not the only option for dessert😂, into the sell information maybe should put the expire date or best before date, so, who would like to buy can decide it is suitable or not.
