I have three large golden retrievers and I take one of them with me wherever I go. He's always in the car with me and loves to go for car rides. I have a car seat protector in my car, but it is really flimsy. I decided to try a heavier duty one. This one is perfect for me. I like how the sides by the door zip up. This is a feature that I had not seen before and I really like it. It's easy to zip up and unzip. You can choose to keep both sides up or keep one side down. I have a picture of both sides up which is nice for long trips. I like to keep one side down for the most part because my dog can reach his water bowl on the other side. If you need to sit in the backseat, it is really easy to to take it down or you can leave it up and put the seat belts through the designed slots. This is the best backseat protector that I've ever got!I hope that this review has been helpful to you!

Great design and it fit awesome in my car. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 2 of the strap fasteners broke almost immediately on my first outing. I was careful with them too, its just that the cheap plastic they were made of was brittle. I did a quick work around, and am still able to use it without the 2 locking snaps, but they should be made out of better plastic.Still the product works great for my dogs.

this is a cheaply made product. first off, all of the buckles broke in the same spot with one use. whether it’s due to a defect or just cheap plastic, i’m not sure but it’s still unusable. secondly, i highly doubt this is waterproof as there are holes along the stitching of the product - like when sewing it someone used the wrong size needle. if you hold it up to the light, you can see holes all throughout. the company includes piece of paper with an email address asking you to contact them before leaving a review if you have an issue. i emailed them on 1/15/18 and never got a response, so apparently they do not stand behind their products. i wouldn’t stand behind them either- they’re garbage. don’t bother with this brand - i highly recommend getting something else.

I am getting ready to move across the country and I will be driving my 2 dogs and 1 cat with me. One of my dogs is an oversized Australian Shepherd. I was extremely concerned about what her nails would do to the leather seats in my leased car. I have tried covering the seats with blankets to protect them, but the blankets are pushed off the seats within 2 minutes. I also found that when I put the rear seat flat, she wants to use that added platform to go between the front seats so that she can sit in the front, next to me. At highway speeds, it's not the safest thing to happen. So, what to do? The Eletist car seat cover was the answer. When it arrived, I was really surprised by he quality of the fabric and the thought that was put into the design. It was as if someone had my experience and designed a product that solved all the problems. There are handles on both long sides of the cover. These slip over the headrests of both the front and back seats, creating a bed for her. Also, there sides that raise on each end, which protect the doors. I hadn't even thought about what she could do to the doors! Because the cover slips over the headrests of the front seats, it makes a barrier between the back and front seats that keeps her from crawling to the front seat while I'm doing 70mph. You have the option of putting the rear seats down and attaching it only to the front headrests and laying the rest down. When I leased the car, I purchased an optional bed protector that came up the backs of the back seats to protect them when the seats are down. Unfortunately, that protector stops where the fabric on the seat back stops, leaving the leather part exposed. This cover protects the exposed leather. The cover is easily cleaned, which is great, because for those of you who own an Australian Shepherd or a Golden Retriever know, their shedding is almost like they shoot heir out like a porcupine shoots quills. Yay!!! No more driving around with a blanket of hair rapidly spreading over the back of the car! The company offers a size for SUVs and a size for regular cars. I needed the one for my SUV. It is a generous size and it fits well. They didn't scrimp on a few inches of fabric to save money like other companies do. I don't know who designed this cover, but all I can say is "Thank you ". There isn't a single thing I needed that the cover didn't address.

Product was exactly what we hoped. Durable material, sizing fit the back seat of our 4Runner, and our dog seemed to enjoy it also! Very happy with this purchase!***Edit from original post:It’s ripped. All of the seams have ripped. At first we thought that this product was amazing. It fit our 4 runner perfectly. Our dog seemed to love it, but then stuff started breaking. First the clips broke. The seller replaced them, no problem! Which was great! Then we took our dog on a long road trip and camping. When we got home and started to clean the car out we noticed the seams along the back part of the cover were all ripped. Our dog is an active one, especially on car rides. He likes to go from window to window. I would of hoped that this material would’ve held up for that though. We’ve taken him to the dog park with the cover over the back seats loads of times, and also have taken him around town in it. So it has lasted us about 4 months. We bought it in December and didn’t really start taking him anywhere in it consistantly until February. I’m not sure if we’ll buy this product again. I really wished it would’ve worked out because it fit perfectly when we installed it and the material seemed really durable. Maybe better suited for a dig that doesn’t move at all in the back seat.

The seat cover itself works well, keeps spills and fur off seat like advertised but I was extremely disappointed to have the hammock delivered with no side flaps like shown in the picture, which was the whole reason I purchased it in the first place.
