I bought this shirt to wear lounging around the house, but I also got it so I could get vaccines easier. I don’t have to roll up my sleeves, I just need to pop open the sides (either side opens), and it gives easy access to the doctor or nurse. I would definitely buy this again.

My husband had a very odd surgery on a shoulder that had already had 3 operations. We were advised that he would be in a metal and molded plastic brace for two full months. The left arm was held tightly in place, even when he slept. Take a good look at the photo. How in the world do you put a shirt on THAT! We read reviews on all the shirts made for operations that Amazon carried and decided to take a chance on MAI's shirt. Thanks to Amazon the shirt arrived the day after we ordered it! It worked out so well that we ordered another one once we got him home from the hospital.The shirt came apart everywhere we needed it to. (EVERYWHERE IN EVERY COMBINATION.) The snaps are tiny; but easy to snap and just as easy to unsnap. Obviously, I had to open and close the snaps as he had only one hand to use. The shirts are for just these type of situations. The quality of the shirt and snaps is excellent and the material is as soft as could be. I bought 1 short and one long sleeve and washed and dried them at night so they were ready for the next day. (They are expensive, but worth it.) My husband is 5'9" and weighs about 190. He is usually a medium in tee shirts but it had to go over all that paraphernalia, so we got the shirts in Large. They hung baggy on him but he wasn't going out much so it did not matter. I think that should be taken into consideration when you buy the shirt. All in all an excellent product.

These shirts (I have purchased 3) have worked well for my husband who had to be connected to IVs for chemo and antifungal treatments for 49 days. They kept him warm and allowed him to feel ‘normal’ since he could get out of the gown. It’s the little things that make the hugest difference. The buttons are so easy to secure and they stay fastened. Regardless of where your PIC line is, you have access on both sides. The material is soft and my husband wears them with his soccer shorts. Lots of people have asked us about his shirts, no one tells you about clothing being an issue when you start your cancer journey. This product really was helpful when we discovered it. We did order a size up to ensure he could move around easily with all of his lines.

This is such a great product. Very well-made it snaps on and off. It works with IV. The long sleeve keep you warm. Works great with ports and central line Great for Chemo patients

The shirt is a wonderful alternative to putting on a regular shirt post surgery or injury. The pre-wash fit was good. After washing and drying the first time, it not longer was a good fit for a post surgery patient. Too painful to try to get it wrapped around. Buy larger size or hang dry and use an iron to make it look nice.
