Quality material. Works great.
Material feels quality. Connections snap into place tightly.Nice tip in the instructions and attached to the wire advise you to flip the connection if usb2 devices don't work. And that tip worked great. I connected my Pixel tablet to a hub with keyboard and mouse and it didn't work until connection flipped.

Works for dual HDMI dock
Using this to extend my Dual HDMI docking station so wires aren't all on my desk. The displays and mouse both work, everything on the dock is working fine. Connected to a USB C Thunderbolt 3 jack. I have not tested the full bandwidth of Thunderbolt 3 on this thing. At the time this was the cheapest durable USB C extension I could find over 3ft.Maybe a con: There is a card saying that you have to connect to the female end with the right side up or else USB 2.0 devices won't work. And I have tested that it's true. USB C connectors are supposed to be reversible with no side effects. However, I am not reconnecting that end of this cable frequently if ever, so I don't care.Feels kinda premium. Connector snaps into place perfectly on both ends. The male end is extruded metal, not folded, which helps durability.I've only had it a week or two, so I can't say how durable it is. Sitting on my desk forever isn't that hard, so I expect it to last a few years. I did try hard to force the male connector through a tiny steel grommet in my desk. It did not go through but I thought it would have scratched the nice grey finish. I was impressed that it appeared to have no damage from this abuse.

Works with Steam Deck. Make sure it's connected the right way!
Bought this to extend the connection for a Steam Deck to have better cable management. If you connected this to the supply power and the Steam Deck isn't charging properly, make sure you flip the connection of the USB C. I guarantee this will solve your problem. Works perfectly.

DO NOT BUY
Giving 5 stars so hopefully this review doesn’t get blocked, but it’s a 0 star product. Cheaply made Chinese cable that is completely unreliable. Cable has always had problems. Constantly have to flip to get to connect. Has video issues and usb issues. Do not buy for MacBook
