Product Description This leather lined stitched edge belt has a polished nickel buckle with single keeper, perfed detail along the edge and is 1 3/8 -inch wide. Size Guide : Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36 inches we recommend ordering a 38 inches belt

COUNTERFEIT!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!
I have many Alen Edmonds belts. Upon receipt, I quickly started seeing red flags of, in my opinion, being completely COUNTERFEIT. Called Allen edmunds, who confirmed that the belt I was describing, without a logo on the inside, inked instead of stamped, brass written where nickel should be and the inside being completely black as well, this is, in their opinion, likely counterfeit. AVOID THIS SELLER!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't Hold Up
Allen Edmonds belts are really beautiful and nicely made. They fit well and are as expected but my main criticism is that they wear out easily. I've bought at least 4 belts by this company and noticed how easily the front will scrape and mar itself even when I'm being extra careful with the product. Somehow the belt just doesn't keep its tanning very well. I can't justify the costs of an Edmonds belt given its inability to withstand wear and tear. Their shoes are much better.

100% Totally (Edit: NOT) Fake
(Edit: Read to end)I needed a new, larger, Manistee belt after I put on a few pounds. Previous review saying they're fake had me worried, but the seller was Amazon.com Services, and the picture in the description seemed to match the AE belt I had (Tan not black inside). What I got was presumably the same fake belt that previous buyer got. It is nowhere close to the quality of my AE belt in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. This is a cheap department store belt with AE markings applied. First it is incredibly flimsy. See picture comparing my used AE belt to the bend in this brand new belt. The used stiffer belt is in the back and the flimsy belt in front is the brand new fake belt. The difference is very substantial. Second, The inside leather is black with a stamp. My real belt is embossed in tan leather. Third, The finish isn't the correct color for AE walnut. My real belt matches my AE walnut shoes perfectly. This belt's finish also doesn't match the depth and quality of the AE belt at all. Third the buckle seems to be the same size but is noticeably lighting and makes a much more pinging sound when handling whereas the real belt makes a clunking sound. This truly is a horrible excuse for a AE belt. I feel bad for the people that bought this and think this is what AE products are. This is not even close.Edit: Well I ordered the same belt from another retailer and got the same belt that Amazon sent. Unfortunately I think AE quality has gone downhill since my previous Manistee belt. Really too bad. Still one star.

stylish, just right fit
Stylish, versatile enough for dressing up or even everyday wear. The leather's not as supple as I expected. I own another Allen Edmonds belt of a similar style, and that one's made of a softer, more conditioned leather. Stiil, this one's definitely comfortable. The size also runs a little looser, which is good for men like me who tend to need in-betweener sizing.

EXCELLENT QUALITY - BUT BELT IS SHORT RELATIVE TO STANDARD!
Excellent quality belt - in terms of design, leather, color, construction, durability, appearance... Higher priced, but worth every penny.HOWEVER, the rule of thumb for sizing is to order 2" larger than your pants waist size (e.g., if you wear pants waist size 30", order a belt in size 32"). Allen Edmonds belts are made SMALL, so you actually need to order 4" larger than your pants waist size (e.g., if you wear pants waist size 30", order an Allen Edmonds belt in size 34"). I had to return the belt I ordered at 2" larger than my pants size, and reorder at 4" larger. The original belt ordered was too small to wear, while the replacement belt fit perfectly.
