Solid unit, great buy!
Installed!! 2019 Honda CRV, had to do some engineering to get the bolt to my liking and cut it down. Other then that it was easy. Paired with the axxess axloc HN3 line output converter. It definitely adds some bump in the trunk. Super clean fitment, love the full spectrum sound it adds. Great unit. Better then the JBL no doubt

5 stars if you know what you are looking for
This is the perfect sub for anyone wanting to round out the low end on their stock radio. It will make your trunk bump like a bad shave, but it’s not really a window rattler, or going to give you the same sound as your friend with a 1400 Watt 12” Sub that you can feel in your chest. It has a deep bass sound when your volume is at about 70% or lower, but it starts to fade into the background at high volumes. Again this is a great addition to a stock system, just don’t expect it to hit every low note or rattle at every frequency.5 stars for:Everything you need is in the box, including wires to set it up multiple different ways (connect to radio or connect to speaker wires)It sits perfectly in my spare and I have my whole trunk for storageGood Sound QualityRemote with phase control, Low Pass Filter, again, and Bass BoostThings to consider:For installing this into a stock radio use T Tap wire connectors which makes connecting to wire harnesses so much easierBuy a Line Out converter. Your stock radio won’t have right and left channel outputs (think Red and White). I bought the Kicker brand LOC for $16 and it had everything I needed. Installed it in 10 minutes. My cars design has a foam piece that sits inside the spare and hold the jack. I had to cut it in half to make room for the sub and so the my trunk liner wasn’t going to fall in. So that’s a potential downfall for some cars.

Above and beyond customer service !
The sub sounds great. It fits inside my 16” spare. Assuming all the components are in working order, installation is simple. Here’s where my story begins…I wanted to save a few dollars so I bought a preowned unit. When it arrived the speaker seemed to be in fine condition but the wires were obviously previously installed. I SHOULD HAVE hacked off the previous owners connectors and reinstalled my own, but I assumed they were installed correctly. Wired everything up and to my dismay, the speaker would not power on. Devastating. Busted out my volt meter and was finding good voltage all over the unit. Signal wire was reading good, power, ground, all good. Must be a bad unit. I contacted the company and they agreed I should send it back. I asked if I could keep the wires because I had already run them through the car, which was a pain and I didn’t want to tear it all apart again. They said that’s fine. Very practical and understanding of them. Love it.The new unit arrived and I simply popped the plug in. Still no power. Wouldn’t turn on. Checked voltages again everything seemed fine. Now I’m pretty sure this could be on me, not the unit. Contacted the company again and they offered to help me troubleshoot. Super helpful. Lots of communication. Ultimately, the problem was the previous owner of my preowned unit had cooked the power cord and the connection just disintegrated when I gave it a tug.Overall, the speaker sounds great. The volume control remote is handy, but I’m just leaving it in the trunk with the speaker. The price is awesome for what it is. My #1 recommendation though is the company itself. These folks really bent over backwards to help resolve my issue and I’m really thankful to them for that!

Buy it! It’s awesome and almost everything is included.
I installed this in my VW Atlas and it worked perfectly! The install kit that was supplied had everything needed to get it wired up and working except the proper mounting hardware. The supplied parts did not work and I had to get an M10 1.5 thin profile coupling nut and a 3” M10 1.5 piece of threaded extension rod and a larger washer to allow the unit to be bolted down to my car. The sub sounds amazing and has ample bass to satisfy your needs. Don’t hesitate to purchase this over the comparable JBL model which is twice the price and is actually the identical item.

I like the cars, the cars that go boom!
I have a 2024 New Model Traverse. As usual, GM puts the weakest sound systems in their vehicles. Absolutely no bass. Researched subs for awhile. First Got a JBL GT 12 300 watt Sub/Amp combo. The bass was tremendouse, albeit distorted on some music no matter how I adjusted the knobs. That and the sub was just too big and took up half the hatchback area of vehicle.Sold JBL sub and started researching Spare Tire subs. The Rockville RockGhost V2, 11" 800W Powered Car Subwoofer got really good reviews with many buyers reviewing. Figured the worst that could happen is I hook it up, if it doesn't sound great, return it.Installed the Rockville Sub. I had already wired my Traverse so I didn't need their wiring kit, which was pretty extensive I must say. Almost rewired with their wiring kit but was too lazy. Connected sub, It fits nicely in spare tire which is underneath cargo storage compartment in back of vehicle. Was worried perhaps being buried in there the bass might be as good.Put Pantera "Cowboys from Hell" on, MAAAAAAN! this thing puts the bass out!!! It does really well with the tighter bass songs. Had to take Gain and Boost down on some of the bassier hip hop songs. That's where the handy remote comes in. Just adjust if you get distortion.Overall very happy with this sub. For less than $200, it's a great way to turn your crappy stock stereo into something pretty good.People have conflicting reviews of the sound. It WILL vibrate your rearview, you absolutely WILL feel the bass and it sounds great. Unless you are entering Bass competitions, this is a great sub and provides plenty of oomph.Thinking of installing one into my wife's Blazer. You have any deals @Rockvile, HMU.
