This says anti foam additive, but my water feature is full of suds should that happen the first time ?

perhaps you put in too much, I cleaned my fountain with a steriliser tablet gave it a good rinse then put in a small amount of biotek fountain cleaner. it works quite well with no foam.

Does this clear off algea thats already present?

Best to start with everything clean. It stops algal growth but kills what is present into a dark slime. which blocke any filters in the system.

Can this be used with a planted water feature

Yes. I use it in my tiny planted mini pond, and the plants grow and flower every year.

Could i please get a data sheet for this product?
