Incredible Knife — Feels Like a $200 Blade
The CIVIVI Mini Praxis Damascus Folding Knife is absolutely outstanding for the price. The Damascus blade is beautiful and razor sharp right out of the box, with excellent edge retention and smooth deployment. It honestly feels like something that should cost way more than it does. The Guibourtia wood handle adds a premium look and feel, with great ergonomics and solid grip despite the compact size. It disappears in the pocket but still feels substantial and confident in hand, making it perfect for everyday carry, camping, or hiking. Fit and finish are top-notch—tight tolerances, smooth action, and zero blade play. CIVIVI really knocked it out of the park with this one. Overall, this knife delivers true high-end quality at a budget-friendly price. Easily feels like a $200 knife. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this is a fantastic EDC.

Excellent initial impression.
Sweet. Very nice ergonomics. It flips open very easily and it appears to be well made. I wear a large glove and this knife feels very good in my hand, despite its compact size, especially, if I use the choil cut into the blade. I bought this knife as a novelty. Whenever I look on Amazon for Firebird Ganzo and Spyderco knives, I would see knives from Civivi. This knife in particular has always appealed to me, so I finally broke down and ordered one in black. The last thing I needed was another pocket knife. But after receiving this knife, handling it, and giving it a couple drops of good knife oil, I have immediately ordered another one in green. This knife is not going to replace my Spyderco dragonfly 2 as my favorite EDC knife, but I am positive, at times I will carry it. One of the reasons I delayed purchasing one of these knives is that I hate liner locks. The idea of a lock that puts your finger in the path of the blade when you start to close it has never seemed very smart to me. However, this one works so well, that I actually like it on this knife. That is saying a lot for me about how impressed I am with this knife, particularly since it is so sharp, I used it to slice up the receipt from my dinner right out of the box. Even as I sit here doing this review, I can’t stop fidgeting with this knife. It is so sweet, I guess I’ll just have to be careful and enjoy this knife the way it is. I saw some of the other reviews where some people had problems with corrosion on the blades of this knives D2 steel. Thanks to these reviews, I’ve already put a thin coat of quality gun oil on its blade and moving parts. Time will tell how corrosion resistant and durable this knife proves to be. Thanks a lot Civivi! Now it looks like I’m going to have to spring for one of the other Civivi knives I have been admiring (Mini Elementium Flipper). Hopefully, I’ll have the self discipline to wait until next month.

Exceptional build quality, sharpness, perfect size for EDC.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Knife! I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this little pocket knife punches way above its weight—so I had to. The build quality rivals knives ten times the price. Razor-sharp right out of the box, perfectly sized, and the pocket clip is spot-on. The fur-lined zip pouch it came in was such a classy touch. As long as Civivi keeps up this level of quality, I’ll be a lifelong customer!

You’ll be touching it in your pocket all day to make sure it’s still there
The worst thing about this is the pocket clip does a poor job of retention. I’ve lost two of these knives because they fell out of my pocket without me noticing. The clip just doesn’t pinch as hard as it should. Aside from that, it fits well in the hand, the blade comes sharp, and it deploys smoothly. You might lose this knife, but at least it’s cheap. Overall this is a good value for what you’re paying.

Proof That Extremely Good Knives Can Come In Small Sizes
I buy a lot of knives. A LOT!!! I have been impressed with other CIVIVI products but the Mini Praxis is a whole new level!!! This one has become my favorite compact superpower knife! First - the edge. This thing is ridiculously sharp. I trimmed off a loose thread on my shirt and the thread genuinely seemed to apologize on its way to the floor. If you need surgical precision for whatever you are cutting or just want to be amazed by a factory sharpened blade that leaves you in wonder, this is the knife for you. Second - the grip is phenomenal. It has a tactical, non-slip feel like a firm, comforting handshake from a friend you can always rely on. It feels perfectly balanced even when you know you are attempting tasks well above your actual skill level. Finally - the ease of operation is what sells it. The deployment is buttery smooth—a satisfying click and movement that makes you feel like an action movie star (but without the need to deliver a mandatory dramatic monologue). You can flip it open faster than your landlord can raise the rent. This knife is now my permanent EDC going wherever I go. If you need a reliable, absurdly sharp, and impressive looking knife that makes you feel instantly more competent, I would encourage you to stop messing around and add this knife to your collection immediately. You'll be 100% happy with it!!!

You might be adding this pocket knife to your collection of favorites. I know I did.
This is an outstanding pocket knife. It fits good in your pocket. The blade is under four fingers long. The blade release works great. The locking mechanism is even better. Never had an issue with it unlocking. It has a really good grip and it looks good too. The blade has a good thickness on it. I’d recommend it to my friends manufacture. I might buy about 10 more and just keep them in my closet for gifts. One of the really good things I like about it is that it works both left-handed and right handed not like some competitors that have the blade release on a particular side. And when you get this pocket knife and you take it out of the box it is already super sharp so this is your first blade. Be careful.

Pleasantly surprised
I like it. I lose way too many knives to pay benchmade prices anymore. This is my edc knife now lightweight enough to carry in athletic shorts but still seems well made the flick blade opens one handed and smooth as butter blade lock is positive and the blades edge is ridiculously sharp

Cachas.
